In the 1968 film, "The Pink Jungle", James Garner is a CIA agent doing battle with the baddie - an Australian being played by the South African born Brit, Nigel Green.

Though I'm sure the inside joke was lost on most, Garner ad-libbed in the movie, "Anyone can be Australian these days".

My nephew is a freelance production contractor for commercials, documentaries, etc. He designs and builds sets. Very creative and artistic with a keen attention to detail. He popped in for a visit last Tuesday and we spent the afternoon in my favorite watering hole down the street. He updated me the projects he's currently working on. I have a large portfolio of his work and here's one of the (silly) things he put together a few years ago for Steven Seagal and Carlton Dry Beer. It was shot less than an hour's drive from where I live. Because of the proximity, I lay claim to being an honorary Australian!

We really need to organise our own JFK conference down under. I think I may know just the venue for it right here in Melbourne. There will naturally be an entrance fee, but ROKCers will get in for free.
