the Ed Forum and the shutting down of threads
Tue 12 Dec 2017, 11:09 am
Notice how the PM thread got shut down because I complained that I was being libeled? Shutting down one of the few worthwhile threads there was not the right approach. The Libeler should have been dealt with. But even more telling was the admission that they were basically waiting for an excuse to shut it down - so the libeler would be seen as doing them a favor.
Yet thread after thread on the idiotic Harvey and Lee bullshit are no problem despite all the hubris, name-calling, reliance on old debunked arguments and so on. Unsurprisingly, it is the people who are trying to put an end to that madness who are labeled the problems.
The ed forum has a reasonably large body of viewers. I can only assume it is because of the characteristic of so many to love watching train wrecks.
Facts be damned; pass around the tin-foil hats and let's burn more threads that rely on actual evidence. CIA sperm banks rule!

Probably the very reason there are not more people attending this forum, Greg.
Tin-foil hats and sperm-counts are meaningless.
But I am sure such things drive the populace wild.
