Letter Writing.
Wed 08 Jun 2011, 4:50 pm
On the forum home page there is this quote:
Please join in the discussion. Lobby. Sign a petition. Write letters. Do whatever you can to let government know that the assassinations of the '60s have not been forgotten, and that palpable lies and cover-ups are no longer an option.
I love writing letters and am pretty good at organising people to do the same. I was wondering if anyone had addresses, emails or phone numbers for the best congressmen, organisations or political offices to write to about these assassinations.
Along this similar vein, I have the addresses and phone numbers for Tom Hanks' production company and related businesses if anyone would like to drop him a line re: Bugliosi's Reclaiming History or anything else.
Thanks heaps.

Letter writing campaigns can be effective!
Here is a tool for finding Congress contact details.
http://www.contactingthecongress.org/
http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
And contact details for the House Subcommittee on Technology, Information Policy, Intergovernmental Relations and Procurement Reform.
http://www.contactingthecongress.org/cgi-bin/newcommittee.cgi?site=ctc2011&lang=&commcode=hgovrefrm_tech
This is the subcommittee responsible for oversight of the JFK Act. It has attempted to abrogate that responsibility.
There is also Bill Kelly's petition here: http://jfkcountercoup.blogspot.com/2011/02/jfk-act-oversight-petition.html
I know you would not, Frankie, but I urge anyone writing, to avoid putting forward any theories.
We need to concentrate on getting the above subcommittee to fulfill its obligations regarding the JFK ACT, and reminding reps of CIA stonewalling on releasing of JFK Act files.
If we go beyond that, it should only be to provide a very short list of evidence, complete with citations. This evidence should, individually, or as a package, provide a strong enough case to cause the average reader unease with the official version.
Such a list could be put together by two or three people e.g. Larry Hancock and people of that ilk.

Fantastic! Thank you.
Let the letter writing begin!
I know Bill Kelly also has a list of people who may be good to write to. I will contact him for details and list them here.

Well, thanks to Greg Parker the JFK Act oversight hearing campaign has become part of COA. (Committee for Open Archives).
We have a website here ---> http://committeeforopenarchives.webs.com/apps/donations/
and love donations. The donations are for taking out an a full page ad in the Washington Post using Gene Case's '50 years in denial is enough' poster.

Massive thanks to all the letter writers and donation folk!
