The story isn't being portrayed very honestly.

"Young people think President Kennedy Died This Morning"... because that is what the interviewer is telling them. If he hadn't said that, they would "know" no such thing. Also in a lot of the Vox Pop interviews, the results that don't square with the point that is trying to be made, are often edited out. Here, he did leave one in where the person knew Kennedy had been assassinated "a long time ago". But can we really be sure there were not others?

I know there is a long-term trend in "dumbing-down"... so maybe it is accurate... but you really can't be certain of that...

Oh, I know it was likely rigged a bit. I just thought everyone might get a laugh out of this.

They knew which states to go to for the quotable quotes... I mean, it's funny stuff, but I refuse to believe it's in any way representative of the whole of the US.
