What I always wonder is WHY don't any of them ever show up in the forums? ROKC being the exception.

Most the people I run across have these really bizarre theories and no real evidence - merely claims - to back them up. And there's no logic behind it either... just as in this case.

I think those studies need to be re-done.

There was a couple of singles released " The Ballad of Paul and the Pall bearers" for example and the subsequent publicity ensured record sales ( in the US in particular) hit levels unseen since the first breathless rush of Beatlemania back in Feb 64.

Inspiring Klein and ABKCO t enter renegotiations with Capitol over royalty rates. This led t the rush release of the last US only Capitol release Hey Jude/ The Beatles Again.

Hed recorded with the Quarrymen ( Lennon McCartney Harrison Lowe and Hanton) back in Liverpool in 1957 at Percy Phillips Kensington music shop.
Cutting the acetate of That'll Be the Day and In Spite of All the Danger.
There was also the Bedroom Tapes cut in 1960 at his house in Forthlin Road with Stu Sutcliffe.
I was talking about his professional recording debut.
Also the Star Club tapes recorded by Kingsize Taylor in Hamburg were recorded in 1962 after the My Bonnie sessions.
In my opinion the Paul is Dead story was a goofy rumour the Klein/ ABKCO PR people latched onto t increase record sales.
It worked. Abbey Road became a monster hit thus the Paul is Dead stuff entered Beatles mythology as a footnote. An oddity. A rather esoteric snapshot of the time.
