Robert Callum motorcade routes and radar Empty Robert Callum motorcade routes and radar

In a footnote to chapter 4 of Let Justice be Done, author William Davy
states: "As for Special Agent Quigley, he quit the FBI in early 1964 to go
work for a wealthy Dallas right-winger named A.W. Cullum. Remarkably, in
1966, both Quigley and his wife left for a two-month trip behind the Iron
Curtain. See NODA memo from Gary Sanders to Jim Garrison, December 11,
1967."

This is all very cozy, since, according to Forrest Sorrels, AW Cullum was
President of the Chamber of Commerce, and participated in meetings dealing
with the motorcade route and the location of the luncheon.
www.jmasland.com/testimony/secret%20service/sorels1.htm

But naturally, nothing is ever clear cut. According to Win Lawson, the man's
name was Robert Cullum.
..

Jerry Deally confirms: "Robert Cullum - food store chain and President of Chamber of Commerce."

According to https://ww2.odu.edu/~rhaines/610/tomthumb/case.html#:~:text=In%201948%2C%20the%20Tom%20Thumb,owed%20by%20the%20defunct%20Toro.  "In 1948, the Tom Thumb Supermarket chain emerged from the ashes of Toro Supermarkets, a bankrupt retail grocery chain located in Dallas, Texas. Toro's grocery supplier, A.W. Cullum and company, had been awarded the chain in lieu of monies they were owed by the defunct Toro." So it appears Robert Cullum was the owner of AW Cullum and Company, and this is what confused Sorrels and Davy. Or, perhaps "AW Cullum" was simply known for some reason as "Robert".

Was Robert/AW related to A Earl Cullum, Jr who had longstanding associations with WFAA, MIT, MSU and who, during WWII, was associate director of the Radio Research Lab at Harvard, and a consultant to both the US Office of Scientific Research and Development and the National Defence Research Committee where he oversaw the development of electronic weaponry and radar jammers?

This brief bio https://www.nae.edu/29526/Mr-A-Earl-Cullum-Jr lists all these achievements, and notes that he too, was a member of the Dallas Citizens Council and the Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

That’s really interesting about Quigley. SA Milton Kaack also quit the FBI in ‘64 and went to work for Southern Research, presumably in New Orleans which would have put him in an office with our pals Charles Carson and Ed Parent.

It seems like the only guy officially involved with the pre-assassination Oswald investigation in New Orleans to stay with the Bureau was DeBrueys, and he got shipped up to Dallas to “assist” and was eventually rewarded with an SAC posting in Puerto Rico.
