Never noticed this before and thought I'd throw it out there.
Just been watching Max Holland's The Lost Bullet and even though the guy is a pure bullshitter I do have to give him appreciation for getting HD scans of many of the assassination films. Whilst watching his 1080p scan of the Bell film one can clearly see two red lights atop the picket fence close to where I believe there is a good chance one of our elusive snipers lay. The sewer grate that is at the end of the picket fence where it meets the triple overpass is a great shot for an assassin and if you ever have a chance to stand there you will know why.
In the frame below you can see the red lights with a white blob sitting centre. These light reflections exist throughout the entire film.

Interesting observation. Check out what deputy Sheriff Bo Mabra said about encountering a "city officer" behind the picket fence in his report to Sheriff Decker.

Terry Martin Moderator Posts: 1143 | At first sight, it looked to me to be the brake lights of a car with a license plate between them. I am not sure of the elevation of the parking lot behind the fence... if it is fairly level, then the police car would seem more logical.

The more I examine the other openings in the foliage, I see those other openings as similar to the center "light" , so I discount the middle light as nothing more than an opening in said foliage.
The two red lights would be much harder to explain away.
Now if as in the 60's the vehicle had emergency lights, two outer and middle was siren then this may be what is seen in the Bell frame.
Or in the 60's the two outer lights had lenses front and rear on most emergency vehicles, and or we are seeing the back of the chromed siren in the middle and the outer red lights from behind.
Or its just a play of light through the trees. I am hesitant to proclaim that is what we are seeing though. Two red 'lights' spaced as such...
Cheers, Ed
