Blind Alleys

Post by Stan Dane on Sat 01 Oct 2016, 3:28 am

What I came to realize over a year ago: mainstream JFK research forums are simply reservations for people who want to talk in circles endlessly. The only thing they accomplish is cheap entertainment for their members. They tolerate—in some cases celebrate—the gullible, the misguided, the disingenuous, and the misfits. They are the Pareto Principle in reverse: they focus on the trivial and ignore, suppress, attack really important questions and ideas before they can take hold (Prayer Man is the litmus test). Wittingly or unwittingly, they are no different than the Warren Commission inquisitors who always stifled any promising lines of questioning by going off the record or pivoting in new directions. I don't take any of their blah blah blah seriously any more. If I do read anything they say, it's only to lampoon them for laughs. Otherwise they don't matter.

To paraphrase Orwell, if there is hope, it lies in reaching new people, "the proles", not the inbred JFK research community.

You could go back 5 years and change the dates on threads and no one would notice. It's been the same shit since the first day I looked into them. Repeat business especially at Stinky's. They had to remove the PM thread (after the rebrand of PP didn't work) because it wasn't in line with the usual slop they offer. Plus Stinky was found out badly.

The simple fact of the matter is that ROKC is the best place for JFK research. Every other forum is a joke. Tough shit to anyone who thinks otherwise.
