hats off to Leo...

From an article linked to by Ed in another thread
The cops had to have it accepted that Oswald left within two to three minutes of the shooting for two specific reasons:
to get him to the Tippit killing on time
to get around the issue of Oswald not being stopped from leaving and having his details taken.
I am particularly drawn to the fact that "many of the reporters asked themselves this question [about leaving without being stopped and questioned] the day of the crime..." Sadly, they should not have been asking themselves, they should have been investigating and reporting on it.
The answer is that, as we now know, Oswald was stopped as he attempted to leave the front door. He was questioned. He did have his details taken.
We know from an internal report and from the statements of employees that a cop was stationed at the front entrance, along with Roy Truly to vet and take down the details of each person before allowing them to leave. Oswald himself talked about it answer to a question from Harry Holmes during the last interrogation.
We know by using Peter Dale Scott's negative template why the cop stationed at the door was not made a witness by the Warren Commission and why Roy Truly is neither asked about this, nor brings it up in any way, shape or form in any interview whatsoever. It is being hidden for a reason.
But when we see Oswald's name at the top of the typed list produced from the Truly-Cop combo, we can be sure it was because Oswald was the first allowed to leave, and that it was some time after the official version says he did.
