Australian billionaires brawl!

Post by Stan Dane on Tue 06 May 2014, 3:46 pm

I got to tip my hat to the Aussies. They don't fricken mess around.

Most disputes between US businessmen would resemble glorified "pillow fights." But these two Australian billionaires have a disagreement and what do they do? They have a knock down drag out with teeth being picked up all over the place. Then when things cool down, they issue "a joint statement to say that they have been friends for 35 years and still are, despite their 'fair share of ups and downs.'"

Either way, it doesn't change anything for the little guy, but this is a hell of a lot more fun!

Being beat up (no pun intended) in the media here because of who they are.

As one person commented "as an Aussie I can confirm that's just bloody normal."

I don't have much respect for either of them, but I can almost guarantee there was nothing fake or stage-managed about the joint statement. And that's probably a first for both.
