A song for Alan Dixon

Post by Stan Dane on Mon 28 Jul 2014, 11:01 am

Last week when we were talking about Steely Dan, you said:

"Any major dude will get over it, Paul."

I understand frustration and wanting to check out at times. I almost did it once. Didn't have the guts, I guess.

Sometimes we have to reset and move on. But like Dan said you are one of us now. So come on back when you feel like it. OK?

You mentioned "any major dude." Like me, you like Steely Dan. That's pretty good in my book. So this song's for you, Alan.

When the demon is at your door
In the morning it won't be there no more
Any major dude will tell you
