Set your browser at 200% and focus on his feet.
Then slowly to the right and there it is. Just in front when Baker does his final leap forward in the Darnell film

Baker's shadow tells all, his shadow is taking him away from the entrance.

For the longest time I read that imagery as showing Baker running for the first step of the entrance, which meant he was back very close to it and going behind Truly. But no! He is out by the curb of Elm St. His shadow clearly climbs the curb and he is headed for the corner of Elm and Houston. Truly is between him and the entrance steps. Baker is running late for a very important date.

Agreed Jake,
Pigeon chaser is aimed like he is making a dash to the corner.
As if he needed past this pesky book building stat.
We know Officer Joe Marshall Smith is heading down Elm Extension as Baker's Run is occurring.
So Baker is not going to speak with JM Smith.
He is possibly going towards the other officers, EL Smith and Barnett at the corner but nothing supports that. He is ultimately alone, just as he is in the Tsbd.
What was so important Baker breaks a sweat to go to corner of Houston Street? Was he jogging off a doughnut?
Cheers, Ed

Stan that is simply the most logical position.
Probably why it was rejected by authorities.
Cheers Ed

Looks like another myth hits the dust.Seems like the Baker did not rush into the TSBD after all.
Over the past few years several things that were once accepted as real have been discarded. The lunchroom encounter, the bus ride and now Baker's mad dash into the TSBD.

And most posters over at the Ed Forum and Stinky's were of the opinion that by the 50th anniversary there could be nothing new uncovered about the case.
Nothing new? Hell! We were just getting started.
Lunchroom encounter proven false, Oswald proven out front, bus ride and taxi ride proved fictions, backyard photos proven fakes, H&L thrashed (repeatedly), the scene in the theater brought into proper focus. Have I missed anything?

Thanks, Lee.
Absolutely! How could I forget the fake Beckley address and the RP lies about weekends only - and the "Where's your rider thread".
And I'm sure there's more that we've uncovered that I've forgotten!!
Getting a bit senile, methinks...

If people would stop repeating the WC crapola they might start noticing that NONE of it holds together very well.
Imagine what we might know tomorrow!

Terrific presentation as always, Stan. You have a great head for the essentials of the subject.
