Re: reinventing the wheel

Post by greg parker on Sun 05 Feb 2017, 2:24 pm

Which all brings me back to reinventing the wheel. The current debate in the Oswald Leaving the TSBD? thread is just a rehash of 14 years of research, arguments, debates and musing that I went through to reach where I am now.

The "did Baker and Truly have an encounter with Oswald at the front entrance" question currently under scrutiny I am sure was covered earlier in the tread, but if not, it was covered in online debates on other forums - years ago. Not only that, but I am reasonably sure that me and Sean had private discussions about it.

You can go through just about any argument being put out at the moment and I'll guarantee it's been done already - and dismissed.

We know it was not Baker and Truly who Oswald encountered on the first floor. We know who the cop was.

I have got to where I am now with it only because of the efforts of Sean, Lee, Ed, Hasan, Mick and Barto. And before that, Don W.

I should stop reading the damn thread. I just want to jump on and try and set them straight for the sake of people reading it.

For what it’s worth, Greg, it might be no harm if you did jump in there and set the record straight.

As far as I’m concerned, the pseudo debate that’s been going on there for months now is a massive lie.

No need to stay there and get mired in the verbiage – just state your intention, say your piece and leave.

I think that coming from you, it might make a difference. At the very least, it would be interesting to see the reaction.

I can't Goban. Banned for daring to call Gilbride out on a false allegation that I had smeared a particular person. Even that person, who had no reason to stick up for me, cane on and said it wasn't true. But the mods - or a single mod more likely, (and I suspect I know who) left his accusation up and hid my response, so I went off.

I can still log n - but that's all I can do.

It looks like they’re condemned to a hell of eternal obfuscation so.

Yes indeed, Stan. I suppose we shouldn’t expect too much from brainless invertebrate bottom feeders…
