Well done Greg
Sat 24 Aug 2013, 6:02 am
Hi Greg,
I just thought I'd like to take the opportunity to congragulate you on an excellent forum. There's no animosity, undue personal criticism or abuse, just genuine, reasoned, well researched respectful discussions.
Please, all members, let's maintain these standards!
Well done Greg,
Ian

I share your sentiments, Ian. IMO, this is the best JFK assassination forum there is. So long as I am an administrator here, I fully intend to help keep Greg's forum to the highest possible standard there is.

Thank you guys.
Just my opinion, but I think other forums go wrong by having rules and moderators. You then get down to interpretation of rules, whether someone has crossed a line, uneven application of said rules, charges of bias, abuse of moderating powers, new rules to close gaps in old rules and the list goes on. It all breeds ill-will, if not contempt.
In the absence of rules and moderators, i have to admit, it may begin to look like a dictatorship if certain decisions ever need to be made - but then we will invoke the Helms' defense: "You've got to trust us, we are honorable men".
I have been lucky, too. The posters we have here are just a great group of people. Maybe the forum isn't seen as worthy of the attention of the wrecking crews? That's okay. I don't mind flying under the radar...
