Wikileaks scenarios Empty Wikileaks scenarios

Fri 10 Dec 2010, 3:19 pm
possible scenario #1
Mark Arbib turns out to be a double agent for a group known as “The Marksmen” headed by Mark Latham. Arbib had been tasked with “turning” The Pink Lady into a Maggie Thatcher clone while rooting out any potential com symps in the US Embassy. For exposing these ugly truths, Assange will suffer extraordinary rendition when he is flown by John Travolta to the US for beer and a mano a mano dressing down by Obama on the White House lawns.

The Marksmen’s greatest success was the programming of Mark Chapman. It should be noted at this point that “Arbib” , is just the Arabic pronunciation of “Harbin”, city once of Manchuria.... It is a well known quasi-fact that Arabs, as with ventriloquist's dummies, cannot pronounce “n”. It comes out as “b” every damn time. Bin Ladin for example, has never been recorded saying his own name. He can’t. But he has often been heard threatening the life of someone named Job Howard And of course, you know Dubwa’s sister, Jen changed her sex and became Jeb just to keep those ol’ A-Rabs happy...

possible scenario #2
In a last ditch effort to save himself, Assange releases his “insurance” tape. Turns out the queen really is an alien lizard, after all. The story is broken in Women’s World with a bonus lizard diet supplement. To avert a full scale (yuk yuk!!) backlash to the whole lizard thing, PBS is induced to sacrifice Iraqi torture tool, Barney the Dinosoar on live TV, followed by repeats of Celebrity Roast and I Led 3 Lives. The PTB (Powers That Be) breathe a collective sigh of relief when the Great Unwashed are suitably tranquilized, and everything goes back to “normal” just like it was pre-Wikileaks. Then 5 years down the track, Oliver Stone makes “Assange – Revenge of the Nerds” with the lead role played by Aussie blonde, Melissa George. The Swedish “rape” scene alone is worth the price of admission...

-------------------------------------------------------------

I am seriously pissed with the Australian Labor government on so many levels over this that I think it will take some time to really be able to put into words the depths of my disgust.

In truth, I’m not sure how this plays out. If you twisted my arm, I’d say the US will try and find some charge to hit him with – then try for extradition. The risk is that they make a martyr of him – but I can see them taking that risk in the belief the consequences of not dealing with him swiftly and harshly just, well... sends out the wrong message and worse, "displeases" the Right... whose Will must be bent to, or else you are forever branded "Unpatriotic" - the worst insult possible in the US.

In fact, it is such a huge insult, it is interchangeable with "Liberal".

The hypocrisy in all this is mind blowing. Hilary, Obama, and nearly every other western leader, at some stage, has made a big song and dance about openness and transparency, and how necessary it is for the health of democracy....

Now what we see is that a (potentially) healthy democracy is anethema to the prevailing type of governance we have - whatever it's true name should be...

I am proud Julian Assange is an Australian, but I am not a proud Australian at the moment. To think that he is safer in Britain than he would be in Australia, really galls me.
This isn't the Labor Party you and I grew up with Greg. This is the the Labor Party that John Howard left as part of his legacy. I don't vote anymore because of it.
"Transparency" has become just another weasel word.

The rot set in after Whitlam. Potential labor leaders were offered "training" in the US. This training was secretly funded by the CIA. Hawke was one of those who went.

Can't remember the exact wording, but one cable out of the US embassy in Canberra, discussing Gillard prior to her rise, said that she now understands what it takes to lead the Labor Party. This was
Embassy-Speak for - she understands she needs the approval of the US and what it takes to get that approval. And what it takes is to lean to the Right and follow and support US foreign policy.

We are not a democracy. We are not a soverighn nation.

Remember Latham? He trashed Dubwa every chance he got when he was on the back-benches, but when he became leader and was fighting the election, his spin doctors had him stand in front of - not an Aussie flag - but a US flag, while he pledged undying allegience to the White House.

At that point, I knew just how hopeless the situation is.

I agree, Howard left a legacy of hate for non-anglo foreigners, and of lies and deceipt at levels never seen here before; and of greed and of blaming the victims of poverty and war... and the list goes on...

"Cos Gough was tough till he hit the rough
Uncle Sam and John were quite enough"
Yeah I agree. After Pine Gap I think things got a bit more than just cosy.
I think Latham was the wrong choice by the ALP. If they wanted people to vote against Howard, then Latham was the wrong candidate. I voted for him cause I just wanted Howard out but I have to give credit to the Australian public. They saw him for the loonie he turned out to be. Problem was that Howard was the only other option. With so much diversity I can't for the life of me work out why its always a two horse race. Its by design. This 2 party state system fools everyone that its a democracy.
