Judge Griffin one of the last remaining persons who served on the WC recently released his book. Myers quoted a small excerpt on his blog.
Oswald and Ruby were lone killers. There is no evidence of a conspirator. Historians and students of history should cease being criminal investigators. They should focus on the super-abundance of evidence as to why Oswald and Ruby committed political murders, the political and social environment as they saw it, and how the public’s knowledge of the lives of Oswald and Ruby may prevent history from repeating itself. They should ignore the political world that fascinates conspiracy theorists.

Looks like they will never learn. They seem determined to hold on to the lone nut nonsense despite the evidence. Not that most CTs are any better either.

Griffin’s explanation for Jack Ruby’s motive for shooting Oswald is consistent with the theory that Israel had some involvement in the assassination (motivated by JFK’s opposition to the Israeli nuclear weapons program). So if Griffin wanted to quash conspiracy theories ….
