Servando has contacted me to let me know he has referenced Bogota Ripples in the book. As it will be a little while before I can obtain a copy, was wondering if anyone has read it yet?

We seem to have the same views in regard to both the 1948 Bogota assassination and CIA intelligence failures (that is, that rarely are such "failures" regarded that way by the CIA, but rather that the outcomes actually approximate what was actually hoped for). Bogota is one such example. I believe the Hungarian Uprising was another. I do have some difficulty with any all-embracing CFR type conspiracy such as put forward by Servando, but by all I've read, he supports his arguments extremely well.
