Ruby Ridge Incident and Waco Massacre Empty Ruby Ridge Incident and Waco Massacre

Wed 01 Dec 2010, 6:28 pm
At first, Wiki links on both incidents:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_Ridge
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waco_Siege

I believe both incidents are interesting enough from the perspective of human rights principles, and both are controversial, too.

From one side, both of them involves paranoic nazi-symphatizers (Ruby Ridge) and crazy sectants (both). Both Weaver family and Branch of David weren't just peaceful civilians - both of them definitely carries a part of guilt in the casualties of violance. From other side - actions of FBI also lead to collateral deaths (~75 killed in Waco Massacre, including women and children), which can't be justified. Especially, sniper Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi from FBI Hostage Rescue Team, was involved in both incidents and responsible for death of Vicki Weaver at Ruby Ridge...
