There was no Sal Embers - it was two different people. 

Sign originally read "Sal Vincent", a comedian - and Cindi Embers.

How on earth could Ruby get away with such obscenity in a conservative city like Dallas back then?

It would be difficult to close down the show when the DPD make up most of the audience. Probably.
There is a rumour (I've just started) that Carl Day took the photos.

Anything was allowed - except revealing "Tasmania". There were some issues at one stage because Jada went full "Tasmania".

This is a still from a movie clip of Ruby in the crowd and he had a Minox camera or some such taking pictures with it. The video clip is out there somewhere. I saw it in another forum one time. Jack was with a friend of his during a float parade I think? IIRC, Something like that.

Not sure about a Minox. He did own a Polaroid. That was the camera used by Crafard to photograph the Impeach Earl warren billboard.

Yeah, I can't remember who said it or speculated it or whatever but it was at the Ed Forum a long, long time ago. I just remember thinking that someone in that vein of conversation mentioned that Jack Ruby bought several of those because they were a new novelty and the latest thing, and I think they said he bought them at a local jewelry store because they were so expensive. Maybe I am dreaming. I just recall reading something like that over there years ago and I never kept track of it at all to see where it went or did not go. Have you heard the latest or remember the latest on how that turned out?  Did it ever get decided what type of camera it was or wasn't that you know of Greg?
