It is shoddy in the extreme.

In the second episode, it makes the early point that the CIA has always denied any involvement in the assassination.

Then right at the end, the very same earnest voiceover man tells us that the CIA has never confirmed nor denied involvement...

Which brings us the pretense of gravitas... I mean, nothing flags gravitas better than a somber soundtrack and a very BBC British accented voiceover. 

If you get those right, the rest is just filler. You can throw any old thing in and it will sound important.

Which brings me to an item I forgot to include... the "new life/I want a washing machine" argument being portrayed according to the WC timeline as occurring on the night of Nov 21... when the actual investigation by the FBI has Oswald apartment searching and Ruthy phoning about washing machine THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND. 

Again, fuck 'em all. And their mothers and their dogs.

And let's not forget that they threw in Givens bullshit story about going back up to the 6th floor and seeing Oswald and of course, they had to add the phony second floor lunch encounter. Again, leaving the impression that he was at least one shooter and that what is in Hosty's note was a fake alibi.
