The one RIF in here 124-10162-10132 is not listed in any ARRB listing but may have been open in full before the ARRB came to be. It's listed as being open in full and date of last review 10/26/1992 which was the date the JFK Act became law. So, it was probably open in full before the JFK Act came to be. The 65 serials Malcolm mentions are internal FBI agency numbers. Doing an "advance search" on MFF for 65-22483 gives 2 hits. The first one is this - FBI 62-109060 JFK HQ File, Section 17, pg 181. Page 181 & 182. I think it would have helped Malcolm in explaining what he was asking for if he knew of and included these two pages. These two pages are the Bureau HQ asking the NY field office to examine the Minox film recovered from the possessions of LHO and compare with specimen Q5 which is also Minox film. The result is one sentence on one page. The Q5 Minox film was not exposed in the same Minox camera as the Minox film recovered from the possessions of LHO. So, why does the NY field office do this lab work? It seems to indicate LHO had access to 2 Minox film cameras. The 2nd page cites an FBI file No. 65-68319. The second hit on MFF for 65-22483 is a copy of p. 182. A search on MFF for 65-68319 turns up nothing. A search on MFF for 65-75085 gives 3 hits, 2 from the ARRB personal saying it's not an assassination record. Then the other one is rather odd. 65-75085 appears to be White House records, perhaps audiotapes, made during the Nixon presidency. Does anyone know of an FBI document with this number - 65-22483, on it anywhere, even if its handwritten in on marginalia?

There is a link to the destruction of some 65-75085 files but no indication they were ever LHO related. - https://www.archives.gov/.../rg-0065/nc1-065-83-09_sf115.pdf. Documents like this are what we need to find for all suspected destruction of JFK files.

If Backes, Blunt, Barto or other B related entities can't get to the bottom of this, I doubt the rest of the alphabet has much hope. Just sayin'.

Why would anyone ever think any gov entity is going to let anything relevant to be revealed?  The media has been manipulated since 11/22/63 to sweep everything under the rug with this case and it's not going to stop now. The best that can be hoped for is how the original plan was revealed when the fat guy Mexico photos were shown and Hoover admitted to LBJ that someone was going around impersonating Oswald, who was never even down in Mexico. From that very early goof up, it's been all cleaned up and put away for good.

It reminds me of Face Files opened by police departments etc. Within them they kept all the intelligence, pictures, and basically built a case on you.
This was deemed illegal.
The cops of course now are using Facebook etc.

Yeah I have been scanning the last three days, and it is all sorts of stuff hence me not looking further up. Must be Minox related.

And yes Greg I agree, the fingerprints had done a runner as well during the HSCA until some clerck found them by coincidence.......
