The Official Theory, Take 2


The single bullet theory (SBT in JFK lingo) matters historically because it is the forensic lynchpin of the official story that one man, ex-Marine Lee Harvey Oswald, shot the president for reasons known only to himself. 

Only a fuck-knuckle would believe that the SBT proves Oswald did it - let alone did it on his own.

The SBT did not not stop on it's path and paint a picture of Oswald in the Sniper's nest with a sign behind him reading "QUIET PLEASE. LONE NUT AT WORK"

But hey, if you think the Magic Bullet was that magic, then Morley has the cure.

He has worked with a team which has created a new 3D model of Dealey Plaza, more accurate and technologically whizz-bang than previous efforts, and it shows the SBT doesn't work. He goes on to say...

The 60th Anniversary


Orr and Leiloglou say the new technology of photogrammetry enables far more precision than the technology available to Myers and Haag. They hope to engage Haag and Myers to compare findings and refine their analysis in spirit of scientific debate. Their goal is to make their work available to documentary filmmakers in time for the 60th anniversary of JFK’s assassination in 2023.

Far be it from me to be sceptical, but I wonder what the charge will be for the use of this redundancy? It may disprove a single bullet theory which no one believes anyway, but it does nothing to exonerate Oswald as one of two or more shooters in a conspiracy, or point to anyone else.

But the Conspiratocracy is not concerned with that. It has Oswald firmly as a participant in some form or other.

For us mere mortals, wouldn't that time, money and effort have been better spent obtaining the Darnell original and making some scans? I'm thinking doing that would have been cheaper - and far more effective in moving the case forward.  

But Morley is another Speer when it comes to this stuff. Except, Morley holds a loftier place in the Pyramid of Importance Impotence. Poor Patsy. One day, if he licks long and hard enough, he can move up a brick or two. 

Would I use this if I were making a documentary? Probably, if it came at an affordable price. But it certainly would not be the lynchpin of the program...

Great point Greg. They piss away money on useless endeavors when they could be fueling progress on the case. A fool and his fuel must surely part.
