Question For All Forum Members !!!!!
Tue 16 Sep 2014, 1:24 am
Putting the call out to all Forum members for assistance locating the George de Mohrenschildt death cassette tape. This was the cassette tape recording made on March 29,1977 in the home of Mrs. Nancy Tilton of 1780 South Ocean Shore Boulevard Manalapan Florida .Anyone who has followed the case knows of this tape recording. It recorded the gun shot blast that supposedly killed
George de Mohrenschildt . The tape was used in the state coroners inquest that concluded indeed de Mohrenschildt had taken his own life by suicide. In our investigation we located an individual who has heard the cassette tape first hand and he informed us that something very strange was recorded on that tape and should be looked into much further. Our contact informed us that you do hear the sound of the house security system beeping indicating a door had been opened. But that was not all that could be plainly heard he told us.He said you could hear plainly shoe footsteps on the hardwood flours of the Tilton home. And you hear those footsteps right up to the gun shot blast sound. This same contact provided our investigation with death scene photo's showing George de Mohrenschildt very much dead sitting in a high back chair with nothing on his feet but socks. And in the pictures and there were many that showed all angles of the small sitting room there were no shoes near his body or anywhere in that room. George de Mohrenschildt was sitting there in his socks and moments before the gun shot blast is heard and recorded on the tape you hear distinct shoe footsteps we were told. When I contacted Mark Lane concerning this tape he also had heard the tape first hand he said he was very pleased that someone was looking into this tape because something was not right with what he had heard also. Our investigation went to every agency in Florida in search of this cassette tape and came away empty handed. Pass the buck was in full drive let me tell you.We were finally contacted back from the State Attorneys Office and were told the tape had been destroyed . If one can believe such a thing. So we didn't give up we found an inside contact at the Palm Beach County Coroners Office who agreed to assist us in our search of this tape and of the de Mohrenschildt case file. Within one week we were informed by our contact that they could do no more searching concerning this tape or case and that they had been informed if they continued there job would be in jeopardy. It left us feeling that some form of a cover up was still very much in place .So we still have not given up we located a contact who said indeed there are several copies of the tape in personal collections around the United States. Our question to the good members of this forum is ,has anyone here heard this tape first hand or would anyone know were this tape could be located.Any help would be greatly appreciated. For our project it is so important that we hear the tape first hand for historical accuracy. If you do not wish to leave the information here please feel free to contact me at my private e-mail address tommywilkens1@gmail.com Thank you.

Thanks Gerry and Greg for that reply. Something concerning this cassette tape just doesn't seem right. When we contacted the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office concerning the de Mohrenschildt case "suicide" we were informed they had no ideal of a case like that ????? After we pushed further and further we were contacted and informed the cassette tape had been destroyed due to a regulation that after a certain length of time entire case files had to be destroyed. This to our investigation didn't seem to hold water. Wouldn't someone think just maybe this case was important enough that we do save it and not add it into the destroy pile. And let me reveal one more strange taping that we discovered existed and now can not be located either . On the night of de Mohrenschildt's death a phone call came into the Palm Beach County Sheriffs office switch board. The caller relayed some form of information concerning the de Mohrenschildt's death. The switch board operator felt the information she received was important enough that she called in a detective and saved it for further investigation. That taping can not be located either. I will go into some other findings we found in our investigation of de Mohrenschildt's strange death in another post.

Good luck getting help from law enforcement in Florida. Tommy go to the pbs website ( I hate recommending them after this years NOVA ). Look for an episode of Frontline called " A death in St. Augustine". Youll get a clear picture of gross police corruption.
Remember Capone brought his Chicago people to south Florida in the 1930 s. That's serious corruption. I wish you the best but don't mess with those St Augustine cops.

Was Nancy Tilton and John Tilton related? George de Mohrenschildt Died in Nancy TIlman’s home and Nancy earlier raised the suspicion that De Mohrenschildt was involved in Bay of Pigs Invasion by being in Guatemala

George de Mohrenschildt was not involved with the Bay of Pigs invasion. After his son died of Cystic Fibrosis in 1960 he and his wife hiked through Mexico and then much of the rest of Latin America down to Panama. They would stop at the American embassy in most of the countries and send messages to friends; Sam Ballen, for example. While in Guatemala City they spotted what appear to have been pilots belonging to the Alabama Air National Guard who had role in the invasion. As he typically did de Mohrenschildt misidentified them, describing them as marines

George de Mohrenschildt cover was a hike lasting a year. Gary Taylor,G deM X son inlaw testifide to WC that deMohrenshild’s spent over 3 weeks in Guatemala at highth of invation at friend of N Tilton home uninvited. He also stated he thought his Father inlaw was a spy.
John De Menil head of Schlumberger Co. and deMohrenschild may have provided arms for the invation.

Thanks MM for your reply. Isn't it strange what things have come to in this country. The very ones that are in place "Police" to protect us and aid us are the very ones we have to be careful of and in a way fearful of. It's a shame after 37 years since George de Mohrenschildt's death we still can not get honest answers concerning his death. There is just no way in this world that the de Mohrenschildt case file and cassette tape recording used in the Coroners Inquest should have been destroyed !!!!! And I don't personally believe that it was destroyed.

I also think there is a very good chance the file and tape are still around somewhere . I read that up in the 6th floor museum they openly admit that DH Byrd has ( or had) the window frame that Oswald supposedly shot through.
