Amon G. Carter and son

Here’s some food for thought. Apart from being the founder of the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram,” Amon G. Carter Sr. was influential in securing the construction of U. S. Air Force plant 4 in Fort Worth, Texas. According to Peter Dale Scott, Carter was a director and “National Governor” of the Air Power League from 1947 to 1955:

In 1953, General Dynamics took over operation of the manufacturing facility of said plant. Amon Carter was also evidently involved in the establishment of a Bell Aircraft Corporation helicopter plant in nearby Hurst, Texas:

Before becoming SECNAV in January, 1962, Fred Korth had served as a director of the Bell Aerospace Corporation (see my essay “Oswald, Fred Korth, and the Office of Naval Intelligence” for more on the Fred Korth and General Dynamics connection). When Marguerite Oswald testified before the Warren Commission, she claimed that she had worked for Carter’s son (Amon G. Carter Jr.) as a nurse:
http://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=37&search=Mrs_Oswald+Ammon+Carter#relPageId=149&tab=page
According to Tom Purvis, Carter Sr. was a “personal acquaintance” of David Harold Byrd; who, as most of us know, was the owner of the TSBD building at the time of the assassination. Given Carter’s involvement with the U. S. Air Force, and given that Byrd was a co-founder of the Civil Air Patrol (which is an auxiliary of the Air Force), this is probably true. Although Carter Sr. died in 1955, Carter Jr. lived until 1982…

This is a FBI report concerning one Velma Marlin who was employed as a “cashier” at the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram:”
http://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=117797&search=Velma_Marlin#relPageId=35&tab=page
Have a read of what Peter Dale Scott writes about Velma Marlin, Marguerite Oswald, LHO, the Albert Schweitzer College, and the Soviet Union:
http://www.maryferrell.org/showDoc.html?docId=48692&search=Amon_Carter+Marguerie+Oswald#relPageId=12&tab=page
This brings to mind what I discuss about Fred Korth both above and in my aforementioned essay. It also brings to mind what Greg Parker discusses about the Civil Air Patrol in volume two of his book; and the implications of this with regards to Oswald and the Soviet Union:

If anyone has any "dirt" on the "Fort Worth Star Telegram" to share, I'm all ears.

Here's a little something from Gerald Hill's obituary in the “Dallas Morning News:”
“He began full time work with the Dallas Times Herald as a reporter and weekly columnist. The Korean War interrupted and he enlisted in the Air Force and served as R & R planner while stationed in Bordeaux, France.”
Makes me wonder whether he knew Carter and/or Byrd. It also makes me wonder whether he had a brief stint with the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram.”

The following is an article that appeared in the "Fort Worth Star-Telegram:"

I don't think I've ever read about the bullshit claim that Oswald had a map with a line on it corresponding to the "path" of the bullet that supposedly killed JFK.

I think Fritz said in the WR that the map didn't have the bullet path, but did have locations marked.. That's probably a detail they meant to add and didn't get around to.

In light of what I wrote above and the Fred Korth Edwin Ekdahl connection, I think the following concerning Amon Carter and Ekdahl makes for an interesting read:
