November
I have left out some players, events and evidence because I need to hold some aces for the book, but hopefully this gives some insight into where I am at. It was difficult to put together - as no doubt attested to by occasional clumsy writing. In the end, I left out citations to go easy on myself. But everything is based on documentation or evidence of one sort or another and most of the different points raised can be found in other posts here. Some searches in MFF will also yield some of the evidence employed for it.
In general, I support Lee Farley's contention that Oswald was replacing Lowery as Molina's watchdog, but it and other bits and pieces by Ed, Bart, Hasan and Mick that I also support, would have been too much to weave into this. In all likelihood though, those things will be included in the book.
To spell out what members here have long known, not only is the WC/FBI/DPD version of events wrong, but so much of what has been accepted by both sides, as well, as long held CT beliefs are also off base. We know the prime example of an element of the story generally accepted by both sides: the 2nd floor lunch encounter - but there are other examples, including the acceptance of Oswald's various addresses. On the CT side, the best examples of a commonly accepted phenomenon are the various Oswald sightings - almost universally claimed by CTs to be part of the plot. The fact is that the LNs are right here. And most of those sightings can be written off as Larry Crafard. The only one that has any chance of fitting into any sort of conspiratorial framework is the Mexico City one. And I personally do not believe that had any connection to the assassination - deliberate operational use of Oswald's name and background or not. The so-called suspicious deaths list is another where the LNs had it right - at least insofar as the deaths I have personally looked into. The only ones who might be suspicious on that list are George deMorhenschildt and David Ferrie... and one person who I don't think is on the list... Verita Korth.
- Exact date not known - Buell Wesley Frazier arrives in Irving from Huntsville and moves in with his sister and her family He soon gets a job at the TSBD.
- The 13th, Dallas papers speculate that President will visit Dallas in November
- The 17th, A Mexico Tourist Card is obtained in New Orleans in the name of Lee Harvey Oswald. No one in the office at the time can identify or recall Oswald
- August/September - Ruth Paine is traveling through eastern states visiting friends and relatives. Includes a visit to Naushon Island owned by her husband's family and where several holiday homes are let to wealthy members of the Eastern Establishment - one being Donald Straus, a member of the Straus family who owned and operated both the immigrant apartments which were home to the Rosenbergs, and Youth House in which Oswald had spent two weeks under observation for truanting. Donald Straus also had professional ties to a person who sat in on early Oswald interrogations, that being Prof. Chuck Webster.
- The 23rd - Ruth Paine picks up Marina. Marina (due to have a baby the following month) will commence living with Ruth in Irving. Bill Lowery outs himself as an FBI infiltrator/informant against the CPUSA in a hearing about Texan communist John Stanford in Washington. RFK had told local and Texas state authorities to lay off Stanford until the Feds had finished with him. Lowery had been in the allegedly subversive GI forum with Joe Molina and had nominated Molina as president of the Dallas chapter. Molina was a bookkeeper at the TSBD. Lowery also had an association with Prof. Chuck Webster, having been on a committee supporting his run for public office.
- The 24th or 25th Oswald departs New Orleans. The official verdict is that he traveled to Mexico. However both Ruth Paine and Marina initially told authorities that Lee had told them he was going to either Houston where he knew someone who would help him find work - or go east looking for work. Marina would later state that Oswald did tell her he was going to Mexico to try and get to Cuba. The person in Houston who sold the ticket, was unable to identify Oswald and gave a clothing description unable to be confirmed by Marina as matching anything owned by Lee. Cuban and Russian Embassy photos, voice recordings and witness descriptions do not match Lee Harvey Oswald. Two bus passengers who identified Oswald as being on the bus to MC would later refuse to talk to anyone. Of the other three, only one was interviewed by the Warren Commission and she gave information inconsistent with it being Lee Harvey Oswald - that is that he ate large amounts of Mexican food at every stop on the way down. The other two were both interviewed by the FBI. One, a friend of the commission witness, stated it was Oswald - the other, who was sitting next to the person identified by the others as Oswald, claimed the person next to him was actually Mexican. On the other hand, there was an employment agency operator in Houston who advised the FBI that she had a person come in looking for work who matched Oswald's description and whose backstory likewise matched Oswald - including details not known publicly at that time.
- The 26th - Dallas papers confirm president to visit in November.
October, 1963
- The 3rd - Oswald checks into the Dallas YMCA and files a claim for unemployment
- The 4th - Oswald applies for a job at Padgett Printing and hitch-hikes to the Paine residence
- The 7th - Ruth Paine testified that she drove Oswald to the bus station so that he could look for work in Dallas and find accommodation. Oswald allegedly finds a place at the boarding house of Mary Bledsoe in Oak Cliff, but moved out again on the 12th. There is no extant physical evidence for it and a lot to be concerned about. Mary testified to the WC with notes made at the urging of the Secret Service and with a lawyer, Melody June Douthit in tow. Mary testified that she began having boarders after her son (Porter) moved out. Quite why she couldn't have boarders in her 4 bedroom home while he was there is not made clear. She further testified that Oswald's one week rent payment was recorded on her calendar and that post-assassination, Porter had ripped that month out and sold it for $5.00. Asked by the commission if this was her way of keeping records, she stated that it was at the time, but not any more.
- The 12th - Columbus Day. Oswald is said to leave Mary's to go to the Paine residence for the weekend. Is told not to come back - which raises another oddity. Mary testified that Oswald had told her he did not intend staying long - and this is supported by only paying one week's rent when his habit in the past had been to pay by the month. So Oswald was kicked out, but was only going to stay a week anyway, according to the amount of rent he had paid. Yet according to the official story, he was immediately forced to find alternative accommodation. Oswald has a haircut in Irving at Shasteen's Barbershop. He is accompanied by a teenage boy. Shasteen is a security informant for the FBI. Oswald has another cut accompanied by this boy, then a few days prior to the assassination, the boy goes to the barbershop alone and begins talking about One World Government to solve the world's problems. By this time, he is well established as an Oswald associate. He does not return to the barbershop after the assassination. Shasteen tells the WC he believes Oswald had been living in Ruth Paine's house.
- The 14th - Ruth drives Oswald to Dallas and he allegedly finds a room on N. Beckley in Oak Cliff using the name O.H. Lee. Again, there is no physical evidence in the way of records, receipts etc, save a scrap of paper with "OH Lee" written on it which the landlady would not allow the authorities to keep. So we have the situation where the official story shows that Oswald would conveniently use his correct name with Mary Bledsoe who would later conveniently identify him on his getaway bus, but then switches to an alias at his next rooming house before giving the phone number to Marina and Mrs. Paine, neglecting to tell them about having to ask for Mr Lee, not Mr Oswald. BY now, it is apparent that all of the addresses Oswald had in Oak Cliff during 1963, are problematic and virtually free of any supporting physical evidence. And in another convenient coincidence, there happened to be a guest at the N Beckley rooming house name Herbert Lee... or perhaps sometimes written as H. Lee. To take it further, his middle and preferred name was "Leon" and he, like Oswald, had come from Louisiana. Mr. Lee, went on to a 30 year career laying floors, before suddenly become a police officer. After dropping Lee off, Mrs Paine and some of her neighbors get together for coffee where Lee's job prospects are at the top of the agenda items resulting in Mrs. Paine allegedly phoning and getting Lee an interview at the TSBD.
- The 15th - Oswald fills in application at TSBD with Roy Truly.
- The 16th - Oswald commences work at the TSBD
- The 18th - Fred Korth is forced to resign as Navy Secretary due to use of his office for personal business, and a military contract scandal. Korth's law office in Fort Worth was opposite the office of Maguerite's 3rd husband, Edwin Ekdahl, and he was Ekdahl's lawyer in his divorce of Marguerite.
- 23rd-25th Oct - Michael Paine and Lee Oswald together and separately, allegedly attend some right and left wing rallies and meetings, along with an ACLU meeting. At the UN Day Rally, a witness claimed he saw Oswald picketing and performing what he called "military type turns". After the assassination, eye witness Arnold Rowland described the person he saw on the 6th floor of the TSBD thusly "The way he was standing it would have been in a position such as port arms in military terms."
- The 29th - FBI SA James Hosty begins inquiries on the Oswald's.
November
- The 1st - Hosty visits the Paines
- The 3rd - Ruth gives Lee a driving lesson
- Nov 4th - The location for the luncheon is discussed by officials. The Trade Mart is the front-runner
- The 5th - Hosty returns to the Paines
- The 9th - Oswald allegedly uses Ruth's typewriter to type a draft letter to the Russian Embassy in English. This is unusual since normally he would hand write such a letter in Russian. Ruth takes Lee to the Driver Examination Station but it is closed due to an election.
- The 10th - Ruth allegedly finds a hand written draft of the letter of the day before and copies it out for the FBI
- The 12th - Oswald allegedly delivers a note to the FBI office for Hosty. After the assassination, Hosty is allegedly ordered to destroy it.
- The 13th - Ruth files for divorce citing "unkind, cruel, harsh and tyrannical treatment and conduct" toward her for a period of 6 months prior to their separation on or about Nov 1, 1962. No further action was taken and petition eventually expired. In any case, the couple reunited on Nov 23rd, 1963 before separating again at a later date. It is a fact that the wording is that which is typically found on divorce applications of the period so as to meet the requirements for a divorce. That said, Ruth's religion forbids lying. This was also a legal document, compounding any untruths it may have contained. The most interesting fact however is that her divorce lawyer was Louise Raggio who had once been an assistant DA under Wade and was married to Grier Raggio who was also her law partner. Grier was one of the DCLU delegation who went to check on Oswald on the Friday night, but failed to see him and instead, broke up after being reassured by police and Prof. Chuck Webster, that Oswald was not being denied any of his rights. Grier had applied for Intelligence work in the army for WWII but was allegedly rejected on the basis of a background check. He thereafter allegedly became embittered toward the army and wrote critical letters home from Europe. Given that background, it is astonishing that he set up his law practice in the Rio Grande building - also home to the 488th MIG. On this date, the location for the luncheon is confirmed as the Trade Mart
- The 15th - Marina allegedly told Lee not to to visit this weekend. Ruth at first testifies this is because he had been overstaying his welcome in previous visits, but then on prompting, adds that she also heard Marina tell him that Ruth's daughter was having a birthday party and that it was not a good idea for Lee to be around as Michael would be there. The net effect of relaying this information to Lee was to set up a situation where it could be claimed he came a day earlier the following week because he missed his wife - not having seen her the weekend before. On this day, Oswald also appeared at the Lincoln-Continental dealership in Dallas. He had been expecting to use Ruth's car for his driver's license test and, under the misapprehension that he needed to have a car for it, made an attempt to buy one (something that Mike Paine had been encouraging him to do). The salesman had told the FBI that this happened on the 9th (a Saturday), but it fits much better with this date (a Friday after work, or the next day, the 16th) since Ruth had taken him to obtain his license on the 9th only to find the station closed, and she had pulled out of taking him again on the 16th. It is claimed that Oswald drove the same route as the motorcade would take the following week - ironic because on this date, various motorcade routes were being reviewed by Sorrels, Lawson etc. On this day, two other events allegedly occurred that seemed linked to each other. Firstly, a tip came in that Oswald and his wife were living at or making inquiries about living at an apartment at 507 E, Tenth St. This is consistent with testimony that Oswald was looking for an apartment for his family to move back together. The one issue is that the description of Marina is actually a perfect description of Ruth Paine - right down to clothing. A separate tip that came in for this date was that a female had phoned Ridgewood Furniture in Garland inquiring about buying a washing machine for a Mrs Oswald. The woman was recalled as having given the name "Ruby" as a reference. This was very likely a mistaken memory and that the actual name given had been Ruth [Paine]. The FBI thought the same way and questioned Ruth about the call. She gave one of her Quaker patented non-denial denials by answering "a call to Garland would be a toll call and I therefore would remember had I made it." Quakers are notorious for such non-answers as a means of avoiding outright lies. All she is confirming here is that she would remember the call had she made it. That is not a denial that she did in fact make it. So we see here that these 2 completely separate tips compliment each other so well, that they each should be considered corroboration of the other. New apartment. New washing machine. Confirming testimony that Oswald wanted to reunite his family. Burying these two events may be the result of not wanting it known that Marina was actively in agreeance with a reconciliation because a happy and contented Oswald does not a disgruntled sniper make. Curtain rods for an apartment anyone? Allegedly Oswald did say that Frazier must be thinking of another time (when he bought curtain rods to work). There is nothing indicating that the owners/landlords at 507 E. Tenth St were ever interviewed. One alternative would be that Larry Crafard was the resident at 507. A heavy set man was seen to visit that address at one time, and the female description could be one of Ruby's strippers or Crafard's wife (two small kids accompanied the female - Larry's wife, Marina and Ruth all had 2 young kids. a description of Crafard's wife is not available, nor is there evidence she was in Dallas at the time). Additionally, the heavy set male could have been visiting a different apartment, or could have been one of the White Russians.
- The 17th - Ruth allegedly calls the boarding house number where Oswald allegedly lives and is told they have no one there named Lee Harvey Oswald (recall that Oswald had allegedly given them the number, but had failed to give them the alias he was allegedly living under). Neither the house-keeper nor the landlords were asked to confirm this call, nor did they volunteer any information about it. Moreover, when police arrived looking for "Lee Oswald" on the 22nd, they failed to recall that someone had phoned only 5 days earlier looking for this person
The 19th - The motorcade route is published - The 21st - Larry Crafard has breakfast at the Dobbs House Cafe and hikes back to the Carousel. He is picked up by a refrigerator mechanic named
Berty DoyleRalph Yates. Yates would later recall his hiker as being Oswald. Yates' story about the hiker was consistent, but had extra detail post-assassination that could have come from the media. Apart from that, he found it impossible to get other details nailed down - as in, the exact day it happened or what his business had been in Oak Cliff. The closest we can nail down the date is the 20th or 21st, but the 21st fits with Crafard at at the cafe. His business in Oak Cliff is more problematic. No business he named as attending could confirm his presence, which of necessity would be recorded on paperwork. It is believed however that Larry hiked along routes known for "cruising" and there are documents showing a person resembling Oswald attended gay parties with Jack Ruby and was considered "rough trade". On that basis, it is considered that Yates, a married man with 5 kids, was there on company time, cruising for a male prostitute. It may be a reasonable question as to why Yates never mentioned his rider had his front teeth missing. A bridge would explain it. In fact, with a little digging, I was able to find that there were dentists in California who pulled those teeth of gay men for the purpose of allowing easier fellatio. The bridge was colloquially referred to as a "garage door". The official story is that Larry's teeth were knocked out in a fist fight at the How Hollywood Works show... but those guys were from California as well, and in show biz. They may have been happy to help Larry with a cover story. - The 22nd - No one sees Lee Oswald walk to the Randle residence with a large parcel. No one sees Lee Oswald walk into work with a large parcel. The sole witnesses are Linnie Mae Randle and Buell Wesley Frazier. A small group of the workers at around 10 am discuss the motorcade and where to watch it from. They decide on an upper floor as the best vantage point. From various statements, it is concluded that among the participants here were Jarman, Norman, Williams, Oswald and Piper who had most likely just arrived at work (starting 2 hours after the others and working extra hours into the evening). At about 10 to 12, the men on the 6th floor break for lunch. Some go outside. Piper and Dougherty have lunch in the Domino Room where Piper brings Dougherty up to speed on what everyone's plans are. Dougherty however had already planned on going up. When they leave the domino room, Oswald goes in to have his lunch. Soon he sees Jarman and Norman reenter on their way to 5th. Williams is not far behind them, following. Dougherty sets the scene for the frame and when the motorcade arrives, he fires a single shot out the window (or fires a starters gun or throws a cracker). Piper flees downstairs while Jack finishes up and then goes down where he meets Shelley and is left in charge of watching the elevators. Maybe Jack was told it would make a good joke? Who knows, but he is a mess afterwards, as is Williams who is forced to change his story because the cops (per Alyea) had further tried to fix the scene by bringing Williams lunch scraps up a floor. He now has to become not only the 6th floor chicken lunch eater, but also Rowland's "elderly Negro" (in reality, Piper). Oswald, who had already gone up a floor for a coke, had finished lunch and ventured outside to the top landing where he remained momentarily before going back in and being seen by Occhus Campbell and Mrs. Reid. At some stage, Truly and Baker go in and Baker notes 2 white males by the lifts (Shelley and Dougherty). Shelley sees Piper. Adams sees Shelley, and Styles sees Lovelady, probably outside the entrance where Lovelady sees Oswald try to leave but is instead asked to "step aside" while they get his details. It is now about 12:40 to 12:45. Oswald flashes his old library card at the cop, is vouched for by Truly and allowed to leave. The library card shown upside down reads "Harvey Lee Oswald" just as shown on the employee list of names and addresses taken at the door. In fact, the library card has the same old address as shown on that list for Oswald. That list alone is corroborating evidence for this scenario. The earliest anyone else claimed to get permission to leave was 1 pm (fairly close to Oswald's 12:45). To claim there were no witnesses is a prosecutor's lie. Lovelady was a witness. We have the document showing this. And the cop at the door was a witness, because we have other police sources quoted in news stories confirming this cop witnessed Oswald leave. Oswald himself outlined this very scenario in answers to questions put to him by Harry Holmes. And the second floor lunch story is hours away from making it's debut. Oswald makes his way, or is taken directly to the Texas Theater where he is earmarked for extinction and found to have "evidence" on him which paints him as a spy for the Soviets. Reporter Jim Ewell had a bird's eye view of the arrest from the balcony. He wrote that Oswald had about a half a dozen cops piled on him with a shotgun pointed down through the tangle straight at his head. Ewell was sure they were going to kill him. In that respect, Oswald saved his own life by yelling out he wasn't resisting. Too many witnesses could see and hear. It was only delaying the inevitable. The police automatically moved into Reid Technique mode, but junk science, keeping Oswald away from legal representation, intimidating and coaching witnesses, planting evidence and attempting to change Oswald's alibi while putting other admissions in his mouth were never going to play well in front of an international media. Those hijiinx were strictly for home town audiences. The one time of panic on the part of the cops was when Oswald unexpectedly asked for someone to come forward and help him. They hastily convened, put an end to the midnight presser and dragged him off for faux arraignments at which David Johnson would advise of his right to a lawyer. After that, one would be recommended to him by Prof. Chuck Webster. He recommended John Abt - a lawyer whose very name would further confirm Oswald was a Soviet agent.
I have left out some players, events and evidence because I need to hold some aces for the book, but hopefully this gives some insight into where I am at. It was difficult to put together - as no doubt attested to by occasional clumsy writing. In the end, I left out citations to go easy on myself. I just realized one thing I had not previously provided any evidence on was the stuff about gay guys having front teeth removed. I was aware of the rumor that female prostitutes do it, so I looked to see if guys did it as well, for the same reason.
This is what I found:

This is what I found:
It's part of a larger discussion on the subject here:A dentist once told me this is a common practice among men in the San Francisco gay community. There are supposedly dentists who specialize in removing several front teeth and replacing them with a removable bridge popularly called a "garage door".
I can't vouch for this guy's credibility, though.
