Why (the one and only) Lee Oswald Looked different on his return from the SU

I was saving this for my book, but what the hell. So sick of mis and disinformation being presented as proven fact.

I'm going to make this as easy to follow and comprehend as I can - something that is anathema to those that this is aimed at with their two thousand collages replete with circles and arrows and descriptions and explanations that seem to have been written by Papuan Highlanders in remedial English classes.

1. Lee Oswald was diagnosed in a Minsk hospital with ascariasis for which he was treated with Piperazine.

As a side-bar, ascariasis is the main reason why it was not Oswald on the bus to Mexico City.

This is because bus witness Pamela Mumford testified that "Oswald" ate copious amounts of Mexican food at every stop on the journey.

This is contra-indicated by the evidence that Oswald did not have a big appetite and by the fact that Marina has stated he did not like spicy food. In fact it is likely that Oswald had medical advice to stay away from spicy food as this upsets the roundworms who will then migrate to other parts of the body where more severe damage may result.

Clearly it could not have been Oswald on the bus. This leaves only three options:

1. The person was impersonating Oswald
2. The witnesses were mistaken
3. The witnesses were lying

It is unlikely that all bus witnesses who were relied upon were mistaken in exactly the same way, and "mistaken" can therefore be ruled out.

A fifth witness, Albert Osborne, claimed the person who the four said was Oswald , was in reality, a Mexican (although he never spoke to the person, so he may have actually been say a Tex-Mex). Such a person would fit the bill as eating copious amounts of Mexican food along the way. 

The two girls (Mumford and her companion) themselves were born in Fiji to English parents. Fiji at the time was a British colony and the vast majority of English people living there were employees of the British Foreign Services. 

The other two witnesses, Dr. and Mrs McFarlane were also English. McFarlane came from the type of schools favored as recruiting grounds by British spy agencies. He had been working on a secret project in the US just prior to the trip to Mexico.

All four witnesses became almost invisible after they had served their purpose before the Warren Commission.

My conclusion is that 1 or 3 or both are true given all of the above, but forced to choose only one option, I would simply go with 3.

Shhh ... don't provoke them. We don't need any more bullshit from them anyway.

I thought I had read everything on here but just went back and wanted to say this is a very good post. I simply cannot imagine Lee feeding his face with copious amounts of of Mexican food when he had this worm thing. In addition, Oswald himself denied he was ever in Mexico City, which I think dovetails nicely with what came out later of the husky guy photos and them trying to pass this off as Lee.

Further, that poster above of the many faces of Lee is good. I remember arguing over on the EF about that one photo that looks like it's been retouched. Not for some nefarious reason but - who knows - just to clean it up for grayscale publishing back then. Newspapers did this all of the time and I even showed other touch up examples from back then, some showing the Kennedys. But of course the HL zealots heard none of it.

Miss MUMFORD. No. He was the first off the bus and the last back on. He had a meal at every bus stop.
Mr. BALL. Oh, he did?
Miss MUMFORD. Yes.
Mr. BALL. He ate at every bus stop?
Miss MUMFORD. Yes. I never saw him ordering. I took it that he didn't speak the language, but he always managed to order himself a large meal

This makes zero sense as being Oswald for the reasons given in the opening post. But it will make PERFECT sense when the real identity of the person is revealed.

Memo discusses the issue o whether they should call Albert Osborne, if they can convince him to tell "the truth". 

The memo suggests he is afraid of the FBI because he has been defrauding little old ladies out of "donations" for his alleged religious work with remote villages in Mexico.

They suggest getting Pamela Mumford to testify to counteract him if they do use him.  It is remarkable under the circumstances did not buckle and tell them what the wanted to hear. Instead, this grifter was the only honest bus witness they had.
