This is extremely interesting as I know Bill Kelly has been examining and pushing this angle (Valkyrie Plot/1963) for quite a while.

We will end up examining Hitler sightings at Düsseldorf Sherman Tank Co trying to buy cut price tanks for The Friends of Democratic Tzigania while the real Hitler was known to be invading Poland.

That book cited in link was written in French (a language I don't read) and was never translated into English. A pity becauseu it's a fascinating theory but there's no way to judge the credibility of its evidence from that summary (and there is basically zero discussion of theory on English-speaking websites).
