Finding Cows

Let me explain the "cow" first. My grandfather taught me as a child to look for the "cows". If I saw a herd of cows and they were feeding, the fishing should be good, if they were sleeping or at rest chances are the fish were too. This has been passed on by me to my boys and my grandsons (it actually works btw based on Sol-Lunar tables (animal feeding).
Now if you think about it every day you see a "cow" in some form or another, live, photo, drawing etc....but is it the "cow" that gives you the information you need?
Searching the Harold Weisberg files, I was reading the Dallas Radio Logs of 22 November for "suspects" other then Oswald....and sure enough on page 4 of Ex 705 there is the following:
Disp 10-4 Attention all squads in the Oak Cliff area-pick up for investigation of a COW, the driver of a 1957 Chevrolet Sedan bearing License #NA4445 last seen in vicinity Tenth and Jefferson 2:33 p.m.
Since my wife was with me on my last research trip to Md, and she always kids me about looking at the "cows" on drives, she actually got a kick about this passage in the radio logs.
I've been finding alot of "cows" in the HW files. The following is one I really consider a key aspect of Oswald's defection and his being held in the Moscow hospital.
Some background...the U.S. Embassey in Moscow has a "Parish" for the staff and others, at this time headed by the Catholic Church per the Roosevelt-Litvinov Agreement...called the Moscow Mission...for a good idea about this aspect read "Moscow was my Parish" by Rev George Bissonnette (expelled in 1955 (considered a spy by Soviets). BTW
The Vatican does have the largest "Intelligence Operation" surpassing both the US and Russian
operations.
The duties of this mission include visits to the "Old Bolshevik Wing" of the hospital to visit. with ill foreigners (especially Americans), which brings me up to Oswald.
While Oswald was in the hospital he was with another mentioned in his diary as "elderly American" ...that man was Waldemar Boris Karn-patnitsky, 75. This is a man I've been looking for (several reasons)CD 1372 and CD 1373 (as well as CD 1330) cover "tracking" of this man. The file of CD 1273 (also related)was misfiled with CD 1272 (found by Gary Schoener 12/28/68). I agree with Schoener, that this man was a "contact" if not handler of Oswald in the USSR. I go a bit deeper, but that's all for now.
Now guess what....files on Waldemar are witheld, by Secret Service...the company he worked for Minerva Machinery
did not exist.
Any prior research by anyone concerning Waldemar Boris Karn-patnitsky wouldbe welcomed.

I'll be aiming to try and repost one of your old posts every day from now until the end of the year. Not many people look at McAdams forum when looking for info. We may not be the most visited site either, but at least it's another place people can read some of your work.James K. Thanks Greg. I posted on McAdam's newsgroup from the start after he took it over for Harris, even moderated when asked and was the only site that I spent any time on. I made a lot of friends and enemies
there. Hope to do the same here until the first of the
year. But any who wish can email me for assistance...jko
