I managed to talk to her daughter and got her position during the shooting solved. And it is as her first statement stated. She was on the 4th floor and not the front steps.

Why did they want her to falsely claim she was down in front of the TSBD rather than on the fourth floor?

Could be a timing issue. The 4th was a simple floor plan:

Just Scott Foresman and storage space. If she came right out of Scott Forseman quickly after the shooting, trying to head downstairs only to find the elevator tied up, she then would have raced through the storage area headed for the back stairs. She would be paralleling the alleged Oswald path two floors above her in both space and time. She should have heard him or seen him on the stairs. No question about it. Trouble was of course, she didn't hear anyone. So, perhaps the need to coerce her into changing her story.

To paraphrase something JFK himself once said, it’s the covering up that gives the game away. This ploy by the FBI in itself exposes the whole official story, including that of the second floor lunchroom, as a hoax.

Agreed Goban. Once that 2nd floor peg pops loose of its mortise, the rest of the rigging unravels to the loose knitting that it really is.

The FBI  told her to do so, but why is the big question.
I also only know that she went to the westerly window to look down after the show went on.

Barto, is that the westerly window of the row of windows on the south wall of the TSBD (within the Scott Forseman offices) or the westerly window on the west wall of the TSBD in the storage area west of the Scott Forseman offices? Is your info about the westerly window based on something that I can look up somewhere? I ask because it affects the timing of her reaching the rear stairs.

My theory is that the FBI changed her story because there was no way she could have missed Oswald coming down from the 6th as she went down the stairs from the 4th. Since she didn't see anybody, she was "advised" to change her story.

If she happened to linger at the window on the west wall of the TSBD nearest the rear stairs, then she would have been standing right near the stairs and heard anyone who was on them. Again, if she heard nothing, out goes LHO and the 2FE.

I think she was looking through the west window(s), but if these are the same window(s) Garner and later on others such as the 3 Negroes from the 5th fl were peeping through cannot be confirmed.
And in all honesty the Oswald going down the stairs or the 2FLRE doesn't need any more nails for either coffin as they have already been firmly shut
