The witnesses

from the documents I have seen, there are quite a few people who had reports made, either by the DPD, the Feebies or even later by the HSCA. Not just the assassination but also Oswald sightings etc.
I am using this thread to post their stories, so expect updates at irregular times.

Romack sounds like he is speaking of officer Barnett,,, who was approached by Brennan, but as Brennan relates Barnett had to run up East side of bldg to give some orders before taking Brennan to front of Tsbd... supposedly Barnett is with a Sgt. who runs to the back. I didnt get that feeling from Brennans description of the Lone Statue of Barnett.
I don't quite believe the Sgt bit, or am yet to be convinced.
It does sound like it's a Romack and Barnett story.
This doesnt preclude the Sgt was possibly there at the front and goes to 'relieve' the citizen in back.

YW Greg, and no I would not be able to tell. It also tends to become a bit of a blur. Like from end of Feb till mid-March I did 10,000 pages....

Thomas Thomson was in prison in 1964 and a letter he wrote about this matter to LIFE at another jail wasbut was read by the jail and forwarded to the FBI.

In this letter, he does indeed instist he was told by somone at General Dynamics Oswald - a former Marina and defector to the Soviet Union was living in Dallas.

What is nt mentioned is that Owald was working at the TSBD. That bit seems added om for the HSCA.

The rest of it may well be credible and if so, I would suggest that Max Clark may be the person who told him.
