If you want to have a bit of fun, ask Sandy to post Marguerite stating Lee attended Stripling... and then wait for the excuses.

He is simply relying upon the word of Armstrong and Marrs who were wrong (and probably knowingly so since they surely checked). 

This reliance on their word should teach him something, but probably won't.

And what Jack White initially stated was that he had been a friend of Kudkaty for 50 years since college days and he could therefore vouch for his honesty.

That story quickly changed when I pointed out that a friend of a research assistant/co designer of the theory becoming a witness is a conflict of interest that should have been declared in the book.

After that sunk in, the new story was that he had not seen Kudlaty for 50 years and just happened to bump into him at a sporting event after all that time - and moreover, Kudlaty had been in the same classes as Jack's wife - not jack and so he was more of a casual acquaintance, even back then. 

But White should not have been able to have it both ways. He was either a longstanding friend of Kudlaty and therefore in a position to vouch for him (but by the same token, creating a conflict of interest) - or he was a college acquaintance he hadn't seen in 50 years and therefore not in a position to vouch for him.

What Super Sleuth Greg Parker said, and has always said is that

If Jack White Story #1 about a friendship stretching back 50 years with Kudlaty is true and that he could therefore vouch for Kudlaty's honesty, then it was a conflict of interest and should have been declared in the Holy Script so that we mere mortals could decide for ourselves if this friendship may have influenced the story at all. Denying the ability of readers to assess this relevant fact was in itself dishonest.

If Jack White story #2 about not having seen Kudlaty since college days where they were mere acquaintances is true, then Jack White was in no position to, nor should have, claimed that he could vouch for Kudlaty's honesty. 

Jack White wanted it both ways, as do his successors. Real life doesn't work like that.

All Mr Parker did was quote Jack White's own two divergent stories back to him. If that "besmirched" him, then he was "besmirched" by his own words! 

"Most important" researcher? Saint Jack! Patron Saint of Doppelgangers, Contrail victims, Authors of Fake Documents and Diaries and Hobbits On The Moon.

Jack White may very well have been a wonderful man but in my opinion his research was not only catastrophic but at times knowingly deceptive.
It must be true what they say about men with big hobbity feet because Jimbo Baggins must have balls the size of orcs t try t pull this routine again.
