From Pat Speer's back passage...for Ed

pat speer wrote:The Hosty notes are not notes per se, but are a first draft of a report. His actual notes were published in his book, and have long been available on the Lancer site.
This draft is important but not for the reason most believe. He mentions in this draft that he confronted Oswald about contacting the Soviet Embassy. He wasn't supposed to ask Oswald about this because the only way he could have known about this at the time was if he'd been told the FBI had been reading the embassy's mail--which was a closely guarded secret. This put the FBI in deep.
The above is a challenge, Bart, posted to you in this thread

You gonna take that from this piece of shit?
He can't get his facts straight about anything. There is only one page posted at Lancer and I assume it was copied from Hosty's book, but you probably know more than I do about that.
The notes are bona fide interrogation notes supplied to the ARRB. You know that. Don't let him mislead with his bullshit wishful thinking/guess-work.

Indeed! As it is, some will assume he is right. He needs to be corrected. Same as his assertion that the notes are available at Lancer. They are not. Just one page; that's it.Ed. I guess he wants to divert attention away from P Parade. He has always been a Prayer Man denier. He was the one who first suggested Stanton as PM back when Sean was posting.

And could someone change the title of this thread...
I keep getting notifications in my in box,
They say "A Message From Pat Speer" and that's
a little disconcerting to say the least

Thanks Ed.
Just been looking at Pat Speer's site and see that he has lifted several pix from my site. Not a mention of anything, the photographer/organisation or my website.
I have got nothing but contempt for the sheer arrogance put on display by Pat Speer.

Poor Pat Speer. I'm not defending him here but he's created a truly in-depth saga of the case on his website. If you go to the bottom of any page there, you'll find a link called SITE ACTIVITY and he or his colleague update it literally every day. You have to admire the man how he continuously plugs away at keeping his site up to date. The dedication is amazing.
Having said that, my impression of Pat is he plugs away - on and on and on - and yet, it seems very hard for him to come to a definite conclusion on which way to go. He kind of reminds me of the mainstream media when they write an article and give all of the facts and quotes and so on and then end it with ... "could it be? Is it possible...? Perhaps...or perhaps not. We will just never know..." If real-world detectives working on real-world murder cases thought like this, then no one on Earth would ever be found guilty.
I think, too, he likes to do things his way and is very resistant to incorporating others' research into his Pat Speer narrative. I remember contacting him months ago about the so-called LHO photo as a Marine shooting a gun. After it was pointed out to me here that it wasn't Oswald, I let PS know. The photo is still there on his website leading off a chapter with the caption, "Oswald shooting his gun as a Marine."
