Story is made for Swiss sandwiches.

So Linnie slams the door on Lee.

Or did she too invite Lee in for coffee and sandwiches.

I find the whole episode ridiculous and no wonder Mum is confused about Lee peering in the window after(?) LINNIE THEN BUELL GO TO THE DOOR.

I agree, Ed. I guess this is a cover story to explain how Linnie could see Lee putting a package in the back seat.

Right.
As when she recognized him she did what... slam door and lock it... or more likely spoke to him and said "I'll tell Buell your here." Or something a normal person would do.
Wouldn't she immediately tell Buell there is a man opening his car door if she didn't recognize Lee.
Either of these logical scenario is avoided here.

It's a small kitchen dining room.

Linnie Mae's Testimony file is empty. Why?

According to the WC testimony of Adamcik and the Rose - Stovall report and Stovall’s WC testimony, Randle drove over to the Paine house while police were there on the afternoon of November 22.
Detective Stovall testified that she told him "that her brother had taken Oswald to work that morning and she said that she had seen him put some kind of a package in the back seat of her brother's car. She told us it could have been a rifle is what she said" (7H191 emphasis added).

She also stated on the day of the assassination that the bag was "approximately 3 feet by 6 inches" (Commission Document 5, p. 320 ).
 
Randle later participated in a simulation with an FBI agent walking toward her kitchen window as Oswald had, and estimated the bag to be 27 inches long. She then stuck with that estimate (Commission Document 7, pp. 298-9).
 
On the day of the assassination she stated to the FBI that "the Dallas Police Department had exhibited to her some brown package paper, however she had not been able to positively identify it as being identical with the above-mentioned brown package, due to the fact she had only observed the brown package from her residence window at a distance"

Couple things.
Who brought in Lovelady to DPD at 1:45pm....roll call over and all...?

Did Michael Paine hear JFK was shot
And rushed over or
hears TSBD was involved,
Or
He hears Oswald was arrested?
Which one fits the known timeline?

AND

How does Linnie Mae's brown paper BOX have a bulge at bottom... oy vey.
It can't unless she was telling whoppers.
Seriously she can't possibly imagine a box and a sack were similar.
She actually described a sack lunch when pressed.
Bulge was fruit and she knew that.

Why not use string that supposedly held the rifle in the babies blanket to hold the pieces disassembled together.... ah, like in the blanket.... oh my.

Sure from the distance she said and the way supposedly carried ... could it be she saw it thin side on... yeah I don't believe any recreation by FBI made thus excuse nor offered up any explanation

Speer vs Lamson brought out some great information and proofs of concept regarding size, time, and other details.



Fbi took the bag cut it apart and made a smaller bag it appears.
Helping Linnie Mae's story or just bad at bag reassembly, either makes Bureau a bad actor.

They took the hammer on the window sill of sixth floor window, and pry up the wooden window strip, breaking it in the process... the small part is stuck up the Dr Pepper bottle by Marvin Johnson
The large part stuck up the giant bag by Leslie Dell Montgomery.
I'd expect a third world police department to handle "evidence" this way... DPD doesn’t rate that good.

12/13 They want to hold the evidence, after the debacle of the sack plays out. (DPD lying to them about its origin) and the paper/tape are investigated

The weight of sack and amount or number of curtain rods in it to simulate a carcano (that Fraiser never says he saw or handled) in a sack, paints a whole different picture between Will Fritz and Buell Wesley Frazier.... how many rods did he envision?? What did he think that rifle weighed....as a guess?

RD Lewis is so uncertain about the sack he says if it's not the one forwarded to the FBI then it was thrown away by Oswald.
Is it then a lie that everything in the DPD crime laboratory was turned over to FBI Vincent Drain.
Frazier sees a lunch sack.
