Paper Bags
Fri 25 Jan 2013, 8:44 am
Found by Stovall & Rose on 11/22 and belonging to Ruth Paine...
"Brown paper sacks tied with white string on each end" They contained small (4" X 4") maps of Asia and Africa - though the dimensions of the bags themselves are not given.

Anyone seen evidence photos of these bags, or know more about them?

Was there any report by Frazier of Oswald bringing paper to the Paine home on Thursday evening?

Not that I'm aware of.lanceman wrote:Was there any report by Frazier of Oswald bringing paper to the Paine home on Thursday evening?
I've no idea why, but Frazier and Linnie Mae lied through their teeth about the curtain rods story and the paper sack allegedly carried by Oswald on the Friday. For me it is one of the most intriguing aspects of the case. And Frazier is still alive.

But then they undermined the narrative by describing a bag that was too short to have contained the disassembled rifle.

The beauty of that is, it allows Buell and Linnie-Mae the appearance of not being part of any frame-up, while also allowing the cops (and FBI and WC) to use the bag as evidence anyway by simply maintaining that the witness estimates of length were out. As long as Oswald was seen carrying a bag too big to be a normal lunch sack and approximately large enough even just for a disassembled rifle, they were happy little Vegemites.lanceman wrote:Mick_Purdy wrote:Not that I'm aware of.lanceman wrote:Was there any report by Frazier of Oswald bringing paper to the Paine home on Thursday evening?

The siblings only undermine the official narrative with their testimony if there had been a trial. No trial means near enough is good enough.
