How many William Michael Hootkins were there in Dallas?
Did the lad have his own residence at the Crestpark Hotel. While Mum and Dad had the place on Wedgewood to themselves?
He wishes!
Who is W M Hootkins?

She attended schools at Indianapolis, Cathedral School, Orlando, Florida, Ward-Belmont, Nashville, Tennessee and Butler University, Indianapolis, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She was a medical secretary at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. Helen enlisted in the Navy WAVES in 1942 and was discharged in 1945 with the rank of Lieutenant.
Helen married Seymour Hootkins in Dallas July 20, 1946. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Hootkins of Petaluma, California; and a son, Dr. Robert Hootkins and wife Evelyn; and three grandchildren, Robert Edward Hootkins, Jr., Mary Catherine Hootkins, and Helen LeCroy Hootkins, all of Austin, Texas. She was a member of Temple Emanu-El. Services will be held at the Chapel of St. Mark's School of Texas, April 16, 2009 with Rabbi David Stern and Reverend Richard Towers officiating. Hooty was born in 1910 Illinois... ie Chi town
Is this Bill's Grandpa WM Hootkins the shoe salesman?
About 1936 W M Hootkins goes West and is in Dallas where he sells shoes.
So all in all Bill could have stayed with Grandpa at the Crestpark. FWIW.
