Edwin Walker: dim-witted? Empty Edwin Walker: dim-witted?

Thu 28 Feb 2013, 2:11 pm
It has been suggested elsewhere that General walker was dim-witted and unintelligent because of his beliefs.

Though I never thought he was stupid, I would not have called him terribly bright, either...

But his psych report paints a different picture:

"Walker is currently functioning at the superior level of intelligence."

"On the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale his reasoning, judgment, vocabulary, fund of information, and organizational ability were all above average for his age group."

Nobody, and I mean nobody, makes it to the rank of General in the US Military that is dim witted.

Yeah, I can't remember who was saying he was dim-witted. I should have put a link. My point was - I had also assumed he wasn't the sharpest pencil in the case (though certainly not dim-witted). I based that on the incoherence of some of his writings and speech. That was what I believed anyway, until I came across his psych reports. I happily defer to those.
