The tropical north of Australia is just the place...

I have a mate in Cairns which is at the northern end of the Greater Barrier Reef.
He sent me an email this morning alerting me to the fact that their local theater company has written and staged a play on Oswald called Four Days in Dallas.
Haven't been able to find out too much about the play, but the little I found suggests the author thinks like most of us, that Oswald was framed.
I found what is hopefully the current email of the playwright and have sent him a message. Hoping I can get more details.
What I'm getting at is that the play may be something that can be shown around in the US to get produced over there? That is assuming I am right about where the play goes in terms of story.
I think this also shows that there are pockets around the world were this will not die off until it is fixed.
You could not possibly get more removed from the troiubles of the world than Cairns. Yet there it is - a locally written and produced play on Oswald.

I live in the DMV area. I'll try to get it booked at the Kennedy Center.

Thanks but hold that thought for a while until I can get a hold of the script and check it.JFK_Case wrote:I live in the DMV area. I'll try to get it booked at the Kennedy Center.

You could not possibly get more removed from the troubles of the world than Cairns. Yet there it is - a locally written and produced play on Oswald.
As soon as one seriously considers his innocence, he immediately becomes a relatable every-man trying to do right in the world only to be annihilated by the powerful. A folk hero caught up in an epically gripping context. I would think it should play well anywhere.
