I thought I may have posted this before. It's too late to propose a talk or paper, but should be a good gathering. It's a few days before other conferences.

Apparently there are two kinds of slots available for papers selected: oral presentation at the conference, which will be strictly limited, or posting.

I'll be doing a talk via zoom on the first day. Someone has to paint the right portrait of Oswald at one of these events, though it will not go into things like his alibi.Roger Odisio wrote:I thought I may have posted this before. It looks like there are two Lancer Conferences--one at the Lorenzo, and one at the Adolphus. Is that right?

Yes.
I think Greg is covering the actual Oswald.
There may be more than two conferences.

My mistake. The talk will be on the afternoon of the 17th - the last, not the first day.greg_parker wrote:I'll be doing a talk via zoom on the first day. According to the Lancer FB page, it is at the Lorenzo. Its me wrote:It looks like there are two Lancer Conferences--one at the Lorenzo, and one at the Adolphus. Is that right?
Where are you giving your talk Barto? Lorenzo about Lee or at the Adolphus about Harvey? That one will have a Hobbit as MC so that should be good.

Lancer, and it will be remote. I am not going to Dallas until the circus has left town. Prolly next year.

LEE OSWALD: THE PATCHWORK KIDRoger Odisio wrote:Greg, did you send an abstract of your talk to the Wecht institute at Duquesne? Can you post it here?
RO
Author’s prior published work: Lee Harvey Oswald’s Cold War: vols. one and two New Disease Press, 2015.
Currently working on three major JFK projects.
Research by author cited in works by di Eugenio, Hancock, Evica, Albarelli, Waldron & Hartmann, Dane, Belzer & Wayne, Simpich, and Pease, among others.
Background
One of the main reasons so many have struggled to get a handle on Oswald is that he only really exists as a pastiche of both real and imaginary people and their actions.
Follow the bouncing ball, connect the dots, consult the oracle and you
will still come away with Oswald as rebel conformist, Commie-Marine, confused nutcase but outside-the-box philosopher, screw-up manual laborer, street-fighting hipster, low level intel operative and wannabe 007, wannabe author and photographer, opera lover and wife-beater.
The aim here is to sort fact from fiction, and face from mask as we untangle the history of strange coincidences that dogged Oswald worse than any ancient curse ever could. In a case famous for the prolific number of coincidences confronting the student, you are about to be astounded by just how many surround Oswald alone.
Methods & Materials
This is a side-by-side comparison of actions attributed to Oswald, with the historical and pop culture references that match those actions but are ostensibly unrelated. Materials used were the 26 vols., historical news stories and events, and movie scripts and court transcripts.
Results
The comparison shows a remarkable series of coincidences throughout Oswald’s short life, most having gone un-noticed until now.
Conclusion
Those parts of Oswald’s history that are most damning from a prosecutorial viewpoint, have been culled from real history and pop culture and form part of a falsified background.

Is Judyth still tied up with the JFK Historical Group? I thought she kind of took it over for awhile a few years back.

From memory, she is listed to talk again this year. Its me wrote:Is Judyth still tied up with the JFK Historical Group? I thought she kind of took it over for awhile a few years back.
I believe her talk will be on how important Tantric Yoga was to her and Lee that Summer and how her favorite position was Bound Reclining Twerk with Twist. I believe she has even agreed to give a demonstration.
