Congratulations, Mr DiEugenio, on that resounding five-star approval by a distinguished reviewer.

Great review of a great book juxtaposed against some of the stupidest dumb-ass comments at the bottom of the web page.
What's been interesting for me going into work over the last week has been the new "experts" who have been speaking to me about how George Hickey shot JFK accidently from the SS car. I guess the documentary shown here on national TV on Wednesday night might have something to do with it

Jim, that's a terrific review of your book by Stone and Sklar. You must be feeling quite proud.

I've noticed this a lot too. I've had two or three people a day asking about the Hickey theory. I am so surprised at how the msm has pushed it, even writing it up as credible. The comment sections in any story related to JFK's assassination have been lousy.Lee Farley wrote:Great review of a great book juxtaposed against some of the stupidest dumb-ass comments at the bottom of the web page.

Why do they more fanatical, or the people with the weirdest theories seem to have the loudest voices?
I'm so glad Oliver Stone has jumped back into the game this year.

I was just pleased to find a comments section that Robert Morrow hadn't sniffed out, Frankie.Frankie Vegas wrote:The comment sections in any story related to JFK's assassination have been lousy.Lee Farley wrote:Great review of a great book juxtaposed against some of the stupidest dumb-ass comments at the bottom of the web page.

I'm sure he'll find it at some point - - once he finishes his daily nuisance phone calls to various U.S. Congressmen trying to convince them that LBJ had sex with his own grandmother's corpse.

pointing at "crazy conspiracy theorists", because.. well.. "aren't conspiracy theorists mad"?
At the moment they can't ban free speech but they can diminish it with a screen of confusion.
I really believe there are people employed to muddy the waters. They drown people with real questions in crap. The next week or so will see an explosion of it and lots of media fingersWhy do they more fanatical, or the people with the weirdest theories seem to have the loudest voices?

I hear that! A friend forwarded me one of Morrows emails. Seems he is organising a protest in the plaza for the 22nd. I guess any representation we get will be marred by his weird sex freak theories. Can you imagine the touristy type folks who won a ticket into the plaza and the greeting they will get from him yelling about LBJ and JFK having sex parties in air force one?Lee Farley wrote:I was just pleased to find a comments section that Robert Morrow hadn't sniffed out, Frankie.Frankie Vegas wrote:The comment sections in any story related to JFK's assassination have been lousy.Lee Farley wrote:Great review of a great book juxtaposed against some of the stupidest dumb-ass comments at the bottom of the web page.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I agree with you on this. The Smoking Gun has made a roaring trade in confused people in comment sections. Between the hobby theorists, ones who get all their information from Alex Jones and the people who are paid to be there...John Mooney wrote:Frankie Vegas

I was surprised when it appeared.
He just said he and Zach would write a review, and he "would try" and get it placed.
I heard nothing else about it for a couple of weeks. I even asked Zach to see if he could place it at Daily Beast.
Then two days ago Oliver emailed me the posted review.
Thank God. Its one of the few good things we have out there right now.
But I agree, the polarization of this issue by zealots like Bugliosi and Hanks and Holland and McAdams has just poisoned the debate pool. Because others take them seriously and mimic them.
