does anyone have a pic of Bruce Carlin?

I've found lots of pics (and videos) of Karen, but nothing about Bruce. Anyone have a pic of this guy?
There's something that's been bothering me about the Karen Carlin story - about the five bucks and all that.
The story I have, goes something iike this: the first one to call Ruby about the five bucks, was Bruce. Bruce and Karen and Tammi True were together at the Colony Club when Bruce made the call. Then, Ruby got "annoyed" and said okay, he'd come over. When he didn't show up, Karen called him back, and that's when he got Huey Reeves on the line and told him to give her five bucks.
Subsequently, Tammi True denied that the five bucks was ever given (although how she's know is unclear, and also it seems Jack was in the habit of not paying his girls, which leads to resentment, which then leads to behaviors like Tammi's).
Here's what I find odd though: here's Karen sitting next two people both of whom are working, and she's working too, and she needs five bucks. Now, I could understand better, if she'd said she needed FIFTY bucks, or a hundred - y'know, rent money, money for groceries, whatever the situation.
I smell something else goin' on in here... I smell.... narcotics maybe. Heroin. Back in the day they didn't have twenty dollar balloons, they had dime bags, and way back in the 60's they weren't even a dime, they were a NICKEL. Five bucks. The Cubans and Puerto Ricans call 'em "pericos" - "nickels" (even if they cost 20 bucks).
Sounds to me, like either Karen or Bruce needed a bag of dope.
Which helps explain to me, why Jack Ruby was so "annoyed". (Besides being tired and amp'd out himself, I mean). Because he probably knew what the five bucks was for.
Karen said she need the five bucks to "get back to Fort Worth", but my goodness, she could easily have borrowed five bucks from the bartender at the Colony Club, couldn't she? How about Tammi True, she musta had five bucks, dontcha think?
Hm.
So I was scrutinizing a few of these pics and videos checking for pinhole eyes. That's when I discovered there didn't seem to be a pic of Bruce.
Anyone can help this information junkie in trouble?

Bingo! Ta-da! See how easy this is? - grin -
"Karen Carlin was addicted to narcotics".

It gets better though. Bruce was apparently a pimp.

Which makes them both extremely vulnerable people, both to their dealers (ultimately, the mob) AND to the DPD and FBI.
There's more, though. I'm kinda playing around in the narcotics space at the moment. Andrew Armstrong was apparently involved in a little dealing too - but this is a real interesting piece, 'cause the type of stuff he was dealing was very peculiar, it wasn't just street drugs, it was pharmaceuticals.
This is an odd thing, because the early 60's were a very interesting time relative to pharmaceuticals. Prior to that there was Miltown, y'know... but in the early 60's they started making the good stuff, things like the Preluding Ruby was taking, on the upwards side, and "tranquilizers" like Tuinal and even early forms of Quaalude. My dad was into the Canadian thing called Mandrax in the very early 60's for about a year (according to my mom) - he found out about them in Mexico, and then he found a dealer when he got back to LA, and he even took my mom over there once.
So like, these pharmaceutical things, they'd sell to businessmen, right? Probably a pretty good market, too! The Carlins of the world are living a somewhat seedy life compared to a guy who's selling newfangled pharmaceuticals to wealthy businessmen, wouldn't that be the case?
So, this Carlin story is starting to make a lot more sense.
Maybe we could do a timeline thing with this - I've been looking for an end-to-end story that's reasonably small (I had originally chosen the Silvia Odio visit, but maybe we could do this Carlin phone call thing too). I'd like to set up the whole chain of evidence from end to end, including confidence levels and event times with full variance. In the Odio case it's maybe easier because most of the data is in the official record, but it would be good to see what we run into in the Carlin case.
(Still haven't found a picture of Bruce, he seems to be an elusive fellow).

I'm guessing this was one of the 65,000 threads started by the n00b. Too bad he is no longer welcome here.

He was born in 1940 or 41 so the age would be right - as is the middle name.
