A Little discussed connection of Note

Jack Ruby, the murderer of Lee Harvey Oswald, indeed had associations and links to repeated members of the Mafia. Yet his least known association as an informant of the FBI years before he murdered Lee Harvey Oswald is offered for your inspection.
House Select Committee on Assassinations, Segregated CIA files, Jack Ruby as an FBI informant, Box 2, File 409, n.d., p. 2, 3

Carmine, if you're referring to the FBI connection, I agree it deserves greater thought than has been given.

Greg,
Indeed Hoover is largely forgotten in the matter as being possibly complicit. I do support of course based on the most evidence Hoover had a large hand in securing the following suppressions of evidence. Yet I keep coming across ex FBI in key positions in many connected organizations. In my view Hoover may have possessed the best view of anyone in the case, and he was the one in my view to most benefit from JFK's death. While Johnson gained lifelong assumed guilt, Hoover gained the only lifetime executive branch appointment in US history besides the Supreme Court. Not bad for intentionally deceiving most investigations repeatedly.
Gerry,
Thanks. I do believe this with the former HSCA investigation regarding the matter does indeed place ol Jackie boy with distinct Mafia and Bureau connections. I am currently debating McAdams about why the failure to share Guy Bannister being a CIA informant with the Commission was also dishonesty on the Agency and Bureau's part. For some reason he disagrees...lol Despite the evidence it seems some will not accept it when it challenges their long standing presumptions.
Additional related problems to consider. Ruby was interviewed about his life and forgot to mention his prior informant status to his own attorney. Must have slipped his mind.

Proton Zapruder was actually filming for his Buddy Col. Boris T Pash who halped hjm emigrate to US in 1920. Zapruters position was perfect to line up snipper behind picket fence.

It looks to me they will not post it as they have started a new thred on subject
Carmine one thing to remember Guy Bannister was Fain, John Wythe boss in 1942 and under the law LHO was FBI responsability.

Gerry,
Yes is not dear old John M. quite the caution.
Thanks for the note about Banister. I will attempt to resume a thread incorporating Guy the CIA informant and Jack the FBI informant at the new site should we switch. These two are worth additional inspection, it also supports why trusting Hoover and John McCone (CIA DCI in 63) to sign affidavits and not reveal all their security files was another Commission mistake.
