    Farewell to Leonard Cohen Empty Farewell to Leonard Cohen

    Sat 12 Nov 2016, 2:37 am
    Friday Night at the Crown and the Crone

    As the weekend starts, the regular crowd,
    gather in the Crown and the Crone aloud,
    but tonight the festivities are a bit softer
    as they pay some homage to Suzanne's author;
    singing "Hallelujah" the crowd raises a toast
    to the gentleman who's chasing Marianne's ghost -
    a silence descends over the Crown and the Crone
    as the angels in heaven reclaimed one of their own.

    Thanks for that fitting tribute, Terry.
