I Was There When Castro Heard the News About JFK Empty I Was There When Castro Heard the News About JFK

https://newrepublic.com/article/115632/castros-reaction-jfk-assassination

I read this article some time ago and was reminded of it after hearing today's news.
I am not a Castro fan boy. Dictators in any shape or form are abhorrent to me but at least everyone in Cuba had free healthcare. My aunty lived in Cuba for a few years. She said if you going to be stuck with a dictator you'd choose Castro. She also lived under Franco.
After all that has been said and done Castro survived them all.
