Magazine Mafia At Alba's Garage
Mon 28 Jun 2021, 3:42 pm
First topic message reminder :
Bart shared a very interesting bit.
Its a document talking about the FBI taking seven magazines and testing them for latent fingerprints and indented writing.
FBI seemingly steers clear of indented writing tests on other evidence.
(We have noted a few here at ROKC.)
Here is FBI hunting for gun magazines used to order rifle.
Of note are the notations on the bottom of the document.
FOLLOWING PAGE RESULTS UNDER SECTION 11
and the agency documents number
105-82555-454 and page 455.
Thusly page 456 will have the results....
I could not locate that 'next page' but found title pages for it etc.
I found lab results.
The odd thing is the lab K numbers for 7 magazines is not a series of seven identifiers but 3!
K27 - K29
Seems odd because they had 3 magazines from elsewhere (beckley?).

So Fbi had K27 with June 63 American Rifleman and a thumbprint on p.37 and torn out ad for kleins...
Which ends up the FBI had the torn out coupon?
Help me out here

No worries Mick.
This and the BYP's tied together conveniently together.
The Fbi lab did such a good job they didn't know the ads fit the magazines DL-15 and DL-16
The lab did such a good job they cant tell if finger prints are on D-85 ( DL-15, DL-16)
Yet a June American Rifleman magazine was subjected to testing.
Cheers

So evidence is:
No True Adventures mag rag.
No Feb American Rifleman magazine.
No 36inch carbine rifle with C2766 on it but a 40.2" short rifle with C2766 on it.
No list from 23rd with ads of killer deals.
No worries...
Magazine mafia was strong arming this matter.

No one poached ethnic women back then.
From the cover it appears they only boiled the one white woman..
Case of the crisped caucasians is in the follow up issue.

I hear the oft used excuse that Klein's ran out of 36 inch Carbines and just happened to send a 40.2 inch Short Rifle with the exact same serial number C2766...? huh
Crescent Arms had thousands of rifles.
They had an order for Klein's.
They would ship portions of it as needed.
Kleins had ordered 200 carbines.
Crescent sends them 100.
10 cartons of 36 inch carbines.
Supposedly the rifle C2766 was or wasn't in this shipment.
If it was it was and sent to Dallas it somehow stretched.
And a 40.2 inch Short Rifle which did have serial number C2766 was placed into evidence.
How does Lee's palmprint get on a 40.2 inch rifle he didn't order.
It doesn't.
There never was any finger or palmprint on a rifle found by DPD that matched Lee.
The belated print day sends off on the 27th is a forgery.
He took a photocopy of Lee's palmprint and while it was still hot he takes a lift from the copy.
The still warm and not quite set copier powder is the equal to fingerprint powders.
The tape will now contain a partial palmprint to which is then applied to the rifle barrel for texture.
or vice versa.
The placement of the tape/textured area on the barrel doesn't support Day's claim about it being under the wood. He is no dope... well.. anyways with a fn Loop he could see he had lifted all trace... but no Day says he still saw ridges etc but didn't put cellophane over it. yeah.
He used powder wich will absorb all oils and a lift will not leave anything visible.
Day is not trustworthy on basic matters.
The rifle is exculpatory.
Cheers
PS.
That palmprint... is flat.
The barrel is round.

I would say the magic happens elsewhere, Paines book shelf... the bureau.
I don't know if Alba had any magic books.
It seems he didn't.
When it comes to pulling rabbits out their respective ten gallon and fedora hats
DPD and FBI had some serious prestidigitation garages.
Heck the Dallas Police Garage made the whole case for conspiracy disappear.
