Parkland is a bomb!

Post by James DiEugenio on Mon 14 Oct 2013, 2:11 am

It did less than a half million its first weekend.

Plus it stinks: http://www.ctka.net/reviews/parkland.html

It will be on DVD very soon, like in November.

Which is what I think it was designed for.

Really makes you wonder, why did Hanks do this anyway?

Whoever gave the green light to the title Parkland needs to go and get their head tested.

Stone came in for criticism about the title of his film prior to release because the movie wasn't about JFK - but on reflection it was a stroke of genius.  I would say Stone's experience should have taught Hanks something, but then, let's face it, learning stuff isn't his forte is it?

My guess, Jim: Hanks is too much in love with Stephen Ambrose.
