what we are witnessing...

First topic message reminder :
I know the claims have been made for a very long time that witness testimony has been changed/suborned. But I honestly don't believe the case for that has ever been all that strong. Suspicion isn't evidence.
I think what we have witnessed

to give just some examples, changes all that and is the bones and meat of a prima facie case that Oswald's alibi would not be permitted to stand, and wherever possible, the real story would be turned into a variation on the truth, but leaning towards his guilt.
There is, imo, no longer any justification for defending the WC findings or its methodology.
These threads, among others, contain the real story, or very close to it, about what happened just prior, during and just after the assassination.
The pity is that this story will remain buried in forums. They have no real impact on how the history is written.
It is a large part of my frustration.

Home, home on the range,
Where the patsies and the policemen play,
Where seldom is heard,
An exonerating word,
And the skies are cloudy till midday
(then the bubble top comes off)

Showing my age here. Anyone remember the "Car 54 Where Are You?" TV show? If not, here's the show intro for some context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFuet1hES-M

"If your calling about sea bags press 1 and hang up." ~Ruth Paine
Mr. ROSE. Well, I found two sea bags, three suitcases, and two cardboard boxes and all of them contained numerous items of property of Oswald.
Haha now thats a punchline!

The sportswriters who covered this game are either missing or won't be interviewed.
Most of the 30,000 fans who attended this game, however, thought the Patsies won.

I can certainly email any files you wish, but try this approach first.Frankie Vegas wrote:Please email me these! What a riot!

Right click on the image you want, and you should see a window pop up (I have Windows 7) and you should see a choice to "Save Image As…" and if you select this, a window should open and you can then save the file wherever you want to with whatever file name you'd like (if different from the default name). This cuts out the middleman.
If it doesn't work, let me know.

Facts and observations help us understand what happens, but they do not tell us why they happen. That's what theories are for. A theory is a conceptual framework that explains existing observations and predicts new ones. Facts don't change, but theories can change as new evidence is discovered. Instead of being discarded, theories are often revised to include the new evidence in their explanation. The Theory of Relativity has been refined over the years, but it still works. Pretty damn good.
Concerning the JFK assassination, we have two main theories. Which one better explains the facts: random nuts acting all alone, or a coordinated conspiracy?
PS: If you dismiss a conspiracy because you claim that the government couldn't possibly keep a secret this big from the American people, think about what is happening right under your nose right now with the NSA. The level of spying is worse than any of the totalitarian regimes of the past. But does anybody care? Is it possible to pretend any longer that rule of law exists in the United States? Joseph McBride (Into the Nightmare) says we live in a "limited police state." Can you not see evidence of this everywhere you look? And yet some of you still want to cling to you lone nut fantasies? How gullible are you?

Your comparison Tom, reminds me of an old English TV comedy series about two tailors who tried to sell their suits with the catch-phrase "never mind the quality - feel the width!" In fact, I think that was also the name of the show...

Hi Tom
I was attempting to point out to Mr. Simkin something that I and other members have felt frustrated with for some time now. Mr. Simkin was openminded enough to see the possible positive effects of such a move, and reduced the number of pinned threads by half. I certainly hope this move has the desired effect.
