George De Mohenschilldt & Robert Morris

Although no firm connection has been established between De Mohrenschildt and Morris, there are a number of tantalizing facts which point distinctly toward there having been one.
Prior to 1941, Morris worked at the law firm of Caudert Bros located at 200 Park Avenue, New York. The company also had an office in Paris which specialized in assisting White Russians out of Europe. [1] The law firm in fact hired a White Russian émigré in the New York office named Boris Brasol as an expert in Soviet law. He had previously set up a number of White Russian anti-Soviet organizations, had written numerous tracts attacking Soviet Russia and had even tried to discredit the Soviets by passing on forgeries to US government agencies. [2]
De Mohenschildt arrived in the US in 1938 and resided with his brother Dmitri at 750 Park Lane, New York. Except for a period in 1939, he resided at that address until 1941. [3] In that year Dmitri began publishing The Russian Review from his apartment. This was a propaganda quarterly aimed at "educating" the American public about Russia. The following year, he joined the fledgling Office of Strategic Services (OSS), a forerunner to the CIA. Among the émigrés who contributed to the Review was Boris Brasol. Brasol would later be suspected of spying for the Nazis. [4] De Mohrenschildt formed Film Facts with his cousin, another suspected Nazi spy, Baron Von Maydell, and made a documentary called "Poland Will Never Die". [5] Also in that year Morris became Officer-in-Charge, Soviet Counterintelligence Third Naval District, New York. [6]
George De Mohrenschildt would become a mentor to Oswald from about September 1962 until April or May, 1963. Robert Morris, also by the 1960s, resided in Dallas and was closely associated with the Birchers including Edwin Walker and at least some of the sponsors of the infamous Black Border ad.
