Yeah, I guess I wasn't too clear. What I was driving at was the difference between Oswald having absolutely no idea of what was going on and being set up or selected as patsy, and being made to participate in some way, thinking he was doing something else while being set up as patsy ...
It's a question of how passive you see him, I suppose.

I see what you mean, Albert, but refining the questions that much may be moot if "D"
is not the "most popular". Until then, either way, he is a patsy, so "D" is still the right option.
If "D" wins out... your refinement would be the basis of another poll. Hope that makes sense... I'm in coffee deficit...

So what does a conspiracy that didn't include Oswald look like (C)? Does this option then mean that there was no prior intention at all to frame Oswald, but that somehow he got picked up by the Dallas police?
That's what my original request for clarification was implying, I think.

Do not these Oswald-centric questions imply a paradigm or frame of reference which is essentially that of the Warren Commission?

Albert, yes. It implies that there was a conspiracy, and that he was picked up for matching a generic description and sneaking into a theater. I don't expect it to get many votes

Goban,
I think if you're going to tear something down and rebuild, you do the latter from the bottom up.
We need a base from which to explore more deeply. This is it. There WILL be further polls - but what they look like, depends on how this one fares.

To NOT start with the basic Oswald-centric questions would be to make assumptions about what the majority think...

Greg, I didn’t mean in any way to be disruptive or indeed destructive. On the contrary.
I intended posting my above comment on the preliminary ‘poll questions’ thread by way of contributing to the discussion about the nature of the poll to be conducted but that thread was closed.
I posted it anyway on this thread as I believe the point I was making was still relevant and worthwhile.

No problem. I think we will get to the type of questions you're after.

I think Oswald was completely innocent and was framed for both murders. Also that there might have been back up patsies like Frazier and Molina.
