The author gives examples of the CIA's "vice-like grip on the mainstream media" today. If they were able to control and manage things the way they did in 1963, they have even more power today to keep what they want under wraps.

What an uphill battle we face. Nothing will come easy.

She didn't tell me what day, but it's Wednesday morning here and still not in. Has to be tomorrow or Saturday cos I don't think they put out a Good Friday edition. 

Remember, it's just a small town paper. Have to hope it gets picked up by others. If not, I've been given some big name Oz newspaper and tv journalist contacts who are friendly to our cause. I will send it to them (if it has the PM story included).

I really hope you make some headway here, Greg.  Experience from the past teaches us to prepare for the inevitable.  The best-intentioned journalists very soon find themselves waylaid and up against career-determining choices once the story threatens to gain exposure, though in Australia the block may be at a more distant station on the road.  Here's hoping against hope.
