Fuck I love this case...
it just keeps on giving and giving...
Sorry. Carry on.

Look at taking up vaping, Greg. Your wish just might come true. Mine did and I feel fantastic not smoking.greg parker wrote:It's at times like this I wish I was still a smoker...

Sounds like book 2 is coming along nicely, Greg.

I fear I'm way too old school for it, Paul & half of the ritual was rolling my own. Though I admit you and Terry make it sound tempting...Look at taking up vaping, Greg. Your wish just might come true. Mine did and I feel fantastic not smoking.
After being stalled for quite a while, yeah... it's full blast again with more and more material unearthing itself.Sounds like book 2 is coming along nicely, Greg.
What bought this thread on was once again coming across an uncommon surname in one area of the case and recalling that same surname from another area... and on a hunch checking any connections between the two people... and bang goes the dynamite. Not just a connection... but an important one and one that sheds a whole other light on one of them and what he might have really been up to on Nov 24... (as opposed to the story given...)
Moreover, the whole thing fits neatly into the bigger picture I've been developing.

That's great to hear, mate. Do you think you'll have volume 2 done before the end of the year?
Re: exclamation mark

Don't know, Hasan... it's looming fast. If not the end of the year, hopefully not long after. Part of me wants to just slap the rest of it together to get it out there... but I can't do it. There is some crackerjack info and I want to get it right and make sure I support it all with trustworthy citations. The other thing is, I'm refining my own thinking as I go... and where once I thought I would discover X, I actually discover Y.Hasan Yusuf wrote:greg parker wrote:After being stalled for quite a while, yeah... it's full blast again with more and more material unearthing itself.

Mate... volume 2 is going to show exactly the how and who of Lee's entry into the world of intelligence -- and it will be backed up with contemporaneous evidence that does NOT need to be twisted or "interpreted" to arrive at the conclusion I have. It's not the "X" I expected - but it is a complete solution.
That won't be all. It will be full of new material in a range of areas, and I will also continue my takedown of the WC, HSCA and Harvey & Lee.

Awh shucks!
As an added bonus, in the last couple of days I have found a little extra for volume 3.
I will be revealing what this guy's real connection is to the case and why he was trying so hard to see Oswald. Had nothing to do with saving his soul...
Lieutenant REVILL. No, prior to the shooting, and subsequently--he was probably talking to--let's see, he arrived at city hall at 9:30. This preacher's name is Ray Rushing. He is an evangelist, Radio Evangelist.
Mr. HUBERT. And that was reported and the man was interviewed?
Lieutenant REVILL. It was not reported because I myself found this man.
Mr. HUBERT. But----
Lieutenant REVILL There is no report on it, because it is in--it had nothing to do with the shooting. He had gone to Sheriff Decker's office, and Decker referred him to the city thinking that Oswald had not been transferred, so, he came to the city hall and went to the third floor, and--by the way, he rode up on the elevator with Jack Ruby, now----
Mr. HUBERT. This Rushing?
Lieutenant REVILL. Yes.
Mr. HUBERT. Rode to the third floor
Lieutenant REVILL. Now, he says this.
Mr. HUBERT. Oh, he says this.
Lieutenant REVILL. Yes, for the past 7 weeks I have been assigned to the district attorney's office, the prosecution of Ruby, running down leads and interviewing witnesses and this preacher was one of the people that we located, and he related this story to me, that he rode up on the elevator with Jack Ruby on the morning of November 24. Mr. Wade did not use this man. He didn't need the testimony, because he had placed Ruby there the morning of the shooting.
Mr. HUBERT. In other words, Rushing says that he rode up with Ruby on the morning of the 24th, prior to the shooting?
Lieutenant. REVILL. Yes, sir.

Rushing claimed Jesus Christ instructed him to go and get Oswald to pray.steely dan wrote:Sounds a little like "Santander" and Roa. Nothing is new i suppose.
Does Jesus always use "middle men"? Couldn't perhaps get himself to talk to Lee directly?

He was under instructions all right - but not by JC... Rushing ties in with those who introduced Oswald into the world of intelligence.

Greg, it's really unfair of you to trash Harvey and Lee until the super busy loyer has read it. Granted, she gave a presentation on it, but its not the same as reading it. Give the girl a chance.
